About this listing
Spacious one bedroom, one bath, full kitchen, living room, dining area. Mid-Century construction with round wall details, hardwood floors, crown molding, and plastered walls. The house is furnished by all our artist friends from around the world. The apartment is 1 mile from LACMA, Trader Joe's, Ralphs, Whole foods, the Grove shopping center. There are great restaurants all along Beverly blvd that we can recommend, the best taco stand in LA is less than a five minute walk from the apartment. Having a base in the mid-city area makes it easy to get to any part of town without hitting a ton of traffic. Clean towels will be provided; you can use our beach towels if you head to the beach. Wireless Internet is available and a flat screen TV (sorry no cable, but HBO and Netflix are available). A full kitchen – Jack Lalanne juicer, blender, coffee maker, toaster oven- almost anything need to cook meals. Bathroom has a shower and bathtub. There is plenty of street parking in the area. Street cleaning on Monday and Tuesday from noon to three.
Satbir apartment is much better looking and more spacious than photos reflect.
Great styling, clean, has everything you need to cook and rest. We used giant flat TV in bedroom to connect laptop with HDMI cable and watched movies once in a while.
Location is really convenient. We walked to most places we needed: restaurants, USPS, FedEx Printing office, LACMA, La Brea Park, Ralph's, ect. And you're right in the middle of the city, so getting anywhere in LA was very easy to calculate.
Neighborhood is very safe.
Plenty of street parking that's always free.
Very comfy big bed.
Lots of gorgeous huge mirrors.
Shower has perfect pressure.
Highly recommended place to stay.
Great location! Grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, and museums are all within walking distance. The flat is centrally located, which made it convenient to drive to the other parts of LA we wanted to see (DTLA, Griffith Observatory, Hollywood, etc.) and there was plenty of street parking. Uber and Lyft were also readily available in the area.
The flat itself looked just like the photos. Towels, toiletries, and a hair dryer were provided in the bathroom and the kitchen was stocked with basic kitchenware. Pets are also allowed without an extra fee, which was a plus.
Satbir was very quick with his responses and easy to communicate with prior to checking in and with the check out process. This place is highly recommend if you're looking for an affordable, centrally-located, pet-friendly place to stay while you're in LA.
We stayed at Satbir's for 10 nights and were very comfortable. The location of the apartment is central and convenient to most areas of LA assuming that guests have a car. The apartment itself has a vintage charm about it togther with an eclectic array of furniture. We recommend grabbing a taco from the El Chato taco truck & a sandwich from Top Rond Beef both on the corner of Olympic & La Brea.
I stayed at Satbir's lovely apartment for about two months. The space is open and spacious. The bed is very comfortable. Street parking was rarely if ever an issue. While there is no air conditioning the apartment stays cool with the shades drawn on hotter days.
Overall Satbir was a responsive polite and welcoming host and I'd recommend staying here.
Suggestions: I) Nice TV it would be good to have in the large, basically unusable living area along at least one comfortable chair. Everyone doesn't always watch TV in bed. ii) establish a timetable for checkout of visitors...."flexible" is a feel good for occupants but can also impact arriving guests. For us, we were not able occupy until after 5 and as a result had dinner plans with no place to freshen up iii) The internet is important, it needs to be fully functional with reasonable speed. This one has neither, difficult as our phones, iPads and the TV were basically nonfunctional for most of our 6 day visit. v.) the microwave is above view on top of the fridge and inaccessible, there was a toaster oven also inaccessible in serious need of cleaning.
Satbir was available and sensitive to the concerns, but that didn't help our stay. With some improvements, we would definitely stay again, the neighborhood was quiet, parking manageable, quarters were clean and notwithstanding above inconveniences, a good place to stay.
Lovely place, better location. Very clean and accommodating host. Would stay again
I stayed here for one night and had quite an enjoyable time. The apartment is large and comfortable and an easy drive to most things one might want to do in Los Angeles. Satbir is a nice person and responded quickly if anything was needed.

Born in the Boston area, I grew up in northern India where I attended boarding school. I love to travel and shoot film. Most of my friends are from all over the world- Air bnb seemed like a good fit for me to continue to meet world travelers. I hope we can connect along the way.
