This place is an ideal venue for exploring Cork. The city is close by, but better again, the lovely countryside & coastal regions of West Cork are easily accessible from here. We were met with true Irish hospitality... the kitchen was well stocked to get us started with milk, bread, free range eggs, tea & coffee. We were also greeted with some fresh flowers, chocolate treats & fuel for the stove. Andrew & Isabelle are excellent hosts who were keen to make sure we had everything we needed.

We had a fabulous stay at the cottage. It is cosy and scenic and although the cottage is close to the main house it is also private. The hosts helped to arrange transport and to give information about the local area. They were warm, welcoming and friendly. The cottage was clean and well equipped.

The cottage was more than comfortable and in perfect condition. Isabelle and Andrew were very welcoming and helpful and gave us good tips on what was on around the area, places to go and eat etc. They also left us fresh bread and eggs which was an added bonus. Would highly recommend to anyone looking in the area.

The stay at this cottage was an absolute dream! Not only were Isabelle and Andrew extremely kind and helpful, the place itself was by far the loveliest Airbnb I have ever stayed in. They provided farm fresh eggs, wonderfully delicious bread, granola, fresh produce, and more. Couldn't say enough kind things about the two of them and the cottage!

We had a great stay with Isabelle and Andrew. They were wonderful hosts and made sure we were comfortable, Andrew even built us a fire one night. We were greeted by Isabelle and she showed us around. She offered to through something together for dinner since we showed up a bit late. We decided to eat at the hotel next store, she called to let them know we were coming. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. I would suggest anyone stay with Isabelle and Andrew. The bed upstairs was incredibly comfortable, I was able to sleep like I was at home. They gave us great suggestions on places to visit and places to eat.

Hi, I live with my husband Andrew and family in the house that we built on the river Bandon. We are retired lawyers and now work in other areas. We love travelling ,staying in unusual places and meeting new people.I love gardens and horticulture and nature and also have a keen interest in visual arts and craft so West Cork is the place to be ! We love animals and keep ponies, dogs, rabbits, cat and poultry.
Andrew speaks German and reasonable French. He is also a great cook ! We look forward to sharing this lovely place where we are lucky enough to live, with other airbnb members.
