Michael greeted us warmly with tea and homemade carrot cake fresh out of the oven. This was only the beginning of a delightful stay. Michael and Sheila were both very welcoming and generous. Breakfast was amazing full of a wide-selection of homemade food and freshly squeezed juice.
Sheila and Michael were impeccable hosts. Their place is cosy and inviting, the rooms tidied daily and even our laundry was done! The best of course was the breakfast feasts - fruits, cheeses, breads, cold meats, preserves, followed with no less than 6 hot meal options. I really enjoyed the Irish breakfast and fresh orange juice in the sunlit dining room overlooking their flower garden.
Thanks for a lovely time!
Our one night stay was short, but sweet. Our triple room was comfortable and as expected, the gardens were beautiful, and the breakfast was fantastic! The house was a convenient walk into Navan, and easy to get to by car.
I had a very nice private room & bath. Beautiful porch setting, welcoming the birds and comforting to the eyes. A great selection of breakfast offerings. Quiet despite closeness to main road. Well worth the stay and welcoming site to rest for my first couple of nights of my stay in Ireland.
We were travelling to a concert which is why we found ourselves in Navan, but it was a great little town, easy to get to both Dublin and the countryside. Fantastic B&B, a proper invitation to stay in someones home.
Hi Tracey, Thank you so much for your review and so sorry for all the misunderstandings - very kind of you. If you find yourselves in the country again to have a look at our historic sites we would reserve our balcony room that overlooks the river for you - please send some sunshine our way we really need it now at this stage in June.
This is a commercial B&B and one of the best you can get. Very welcoming couple running the place. They offered us tea on arrival and included the best breakfast one can get on the next morning. A big variety of fruits, cheeses, bread, cake, different types of eggs. I can still not get over the perfect breakfast!
Thank you for having us.
