Clean and cozy family home centrally located in Westchester County. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe, near restaurants, highways and transportation.

The space
The private bedroom and bathroom is on the lower level between the main levels and the basement, which offers privacy from the main part of the house. The space is located next to the garage and guests can enter/exit through the garage for privacy, guests are provided with a code to enter through the garage but for initial check in I like to meet and greet the guests in person. The space has good light with two windows facing 2 directions. There is a closet with hangers as well as a dresser for storage. There is also a private bathroom with a shower but no bath. The shower is on the small side and may not be ideal for large people. You have to walk down 2 steps from the bedroom to the bathroom. If you have more than 2 guests I have 2 air mattresses (single and double sizes) I can setup in the finished basement.

Guest access
We are a friendly and welcoming family and welcome guests to use the kitchen and we are happy to provide fridge and cupboard shelves for food storage in the kitchen. Note that accessing the kitchen from the guest room requires climbing a flight of stairs. The rear deck is also great for dining alfresco and the finished basement has a big screen tv with Apple TV for use with your own streaming accounts. You can use the laundry room as needed.

During your stay
We will be available during your stay to assist you with any needs that may arise. We are also very friendly so if you are interested to socialize we would love to, or we will respect your privacy if preferred. I do have 2 teenagers living here and we try to be quiet and respectful when we have guests.

Other things to note
If you are relocating to this area I would be happy to advise you on the pro's and con's of the various neighborhoods, villages, towns and cities that make up Westchester County. Also I am a real estate broker and would be happy to help find you a new home to rent or buy. We often dog sit for a very sweet and friendly dog and when here she has free range of the common areas but will never be anywhere near the guest area. There are stairs between the guest area and the kitchen that may be undesirable for elderly guests.

Any pets will be at an additional rate of $75 per night.
