The space
If you are looking for a cozy retreat for your holidays in the Algarve, this studio is the perfect choice. Located in a quiet area, just a few minutes from beaches and coastal trails, it offers the perfect combination of tranquility, comfort, and proximity to the sea.
The open-plan space is bright and functional, bathed in sunlight all day, featuring a dining area, a comfortable sofa, fast Wi-Fi, a television, books, and games for your leisure moments. On winter evenings, the fireplace creates the perfect atmosphere to relax. The fully equipped kitchenette has a charming window overlooking the garden — ideal for preparing meals with inspiration.
Although there is no air conditioning, the studio is equipped with a modern air cooler that refreshes, heats, and purifies the air, ensuring comfort in every season.
Outside, the private garden invites you to unwind — whether reading, sunbathing, or enjoying an outdoor meal. During your stay, you can also appreciate the beauty and fragrance of the carefully tended flowers, which make this space even more special.
As a unique touch, in the late afternoon, you may be pleasantly surprised by the soft sounds of live music coming from a nearby public venue, the Sky Bar. Other things to note
Please be informed that, according to Regulation No. 425/2024, published in the Diário da República No. 72 on 12/04/2024, the Municipality of Lagoa has implemented a Municipal Tourist Tax effective from April 13, 2024.
This tax aims to support strategic investments to enhance the municipality as a premium tourist destination.
Tax Rates:
Low Season (November 1 to March 31): €1 per night
High Season (April 1 to October 31): €2 per night
Conditions:
Applied for a maximum of seven consecutive nights;
Applicable to guests aged 13 and older;
Covers all tourist accommodations and local lodging establishments (including hotels, tourist apartments, hostels, etc.).
Exemptions:
Guests aged 12 or under;
Guests with a disability (equal to or greater than 60%);
Students, both national and international, enrolling at the University of Algarve (at the start of the academic year, for up to 60 consecutive days);
Guests staying for medical treatment (including one accompanying person);
Guests whose stay is a proven courtesy offered by the establishment.
Additional Information:
The tourist tax is VAT exempt (Article 2, no. 2 of the CIVA);
If not in the booking, the tax is collected at check-in;
Airbnb platform doesn't allow seasons taxes yet so, will always charge 2€. Refunds are made for low season, if charged in the booking.
Management and payment are handled through the Municipality’s electronic platform;
Establishments receive a 2.5% commission (plus VAT) for managing the collection and transfer of the tax.
