This is one of our newest apartments that is located in the area of the Duomo. It was renovated in February 2010 and is very clean and contemporary, while is still very comfortable and charming.
It is located on the 4th floor of a lovely building. There is no elevator (which is common in the heart of the city center) making it a climb to get there, but it's definitely worth the walk.
The apartment has an open floor plan, with the lovely kitchen with brand new appliances and dining area greeting you when you enter. Beyond the dining room table, is a comfortable living room with a sofa bed that looks towards a fireplace and two large windows that allow in plenty of light and have a lovely view of the Duomo. There is a staircase from the living room that leads to the lofted bedroom and beautiful, new bathroom.
The apartment is just a few block from the Duomo, and very close to the Accademia where Michelangelo’s David is kept. You are also close to a large park, as well as a supermarket and the city’s two fresh markets, Sant’Ambrogio and Mercato Centrale.
This is a wonderful place to explore an ancient city while sleeping in a luxurious modern apartment.

Great apartment, tucked away from most of the tourist activity. Excellent kitchen, and the air conditioning saved our lives when we stayed there for the month of July. On the fourth floor, 80 steps up to the door, so be ready to exercise. Quiet at night, but shops and a few bars nearby. Close to Piazza St (email hidden)ly hangout spot for locals. Each day we woke up to a fabulous view of the Duomo. I would love to stay there again sometime.
We enjoyed our stay in the Laura Loft. It is a 5 min walk to the Duamo and a 20 min walk to the train station. Everything you need is right around the corner. We decided to stay in Florence and were very happy that the Laura Loft was available to extend our stay. It was clean, large, the bed was comfortable, shower was large, AC worked well, and the kitchen was well equipped. We would stay there again. Christine was very easy to work with when making the reservation.
