We offer a unique Eco-Chic, off grid experience to our guests that will be remembered for a lifetime. We are 100% dependent on solar energy and rain water catchment, and conservation is expected, but you’ll want for nothing. Located 10-15 min from town by bike, at the end of the golf cart path, close to the restaurants and bars but away from the crowds when you're ready to relax.

The space
The look is Beachy Boho Chic, with lots of "chill out spots" to laze away, read a book, enjoy the ocean breeze, or have a cocktail and watch the sunset. Throw a line in & try your luck from our dock, float away (not really) on our water loungers and work on your tan, then fall asleep at night in 1000 thread count luxury linens. In the morning enjoy a cup of local Belizian fresh ground coffee, and repeat. You will be hard pressed to find the attention to detail anywhere else on the island, that we provide at Comfortably Numb.

Guest access
Your private space is the ground floor apartment on our property including screened in porch and deck. You have the use of our palapa covered dock, Kayak, floating loungers, and bikes. We live on the 2nd floor and are available to you but your privacy is of utmost importance to us.

Other things to note
We live in Central America and yes there are bugs, gekos, iguanas etc. Please be prepared for the bugs, and the sun. Nothing ruins a vacation like bug bites and sunburn. We are "off grid" and therefore we do not have AC, but we do have ceiling fans and an almost constant ocean breeze that makes your apartment quite comfortable.

Caye Caulker, Belize

We live on the South End of Caye Caulker in a residential area 15 min by bike away from the Village action. All our neighbors are "off grid" as electricity has not made its way here yet. At Comfortably Numb you will have all the comforts of home, lights, fan, good wifi powered by reliable solar without the interruption/blackouts which often occur in town. Having said this it can be dark at night (no street lights) so we don't recommend walking home or riding the bikes after dark, but if you do, we provide flashlights and headlamps. Golf cart taxies are plentiful and inexpensive.
