  • Nadim was friendly and easy to communicate with via text. The apartment is in a wonderful neighborhood, with easy access to Parc LaFontaine and lots of wonderful restaurants. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We would happily stay here again.

  • Great apartment, great location. We stayed in Nadim's apartment for 3 nights over the Jazzfest weekend and enjoyed it thoroughly. The beds were comfortable, linens nice and fresh, the rest of the apartment was clean and tastefully decorated, and we were able to check in at a late hour. The location is great for walking to Plateau, the latin quarter, or downtown. There are some great restaurants and bakeries nearby as well. Parking wasn't too tough once we read the signs carefully to figure out the prohibited times.

  • Had a great experience staying here. Very good location ... Just around the corner from Notre Dame. High floor elevator building. Having access to parking was very convenient. Would stay here again when visiting Montreal.

  • This is a great little, luxury loft right in the old port! It's clean, well cared for and very comfortable. The location is great! It's blocks away from everything old port. Rue Saint Paul is just two streets away so, morning coffee and pastries was a breeze. And, there are lots of great shops and dining right out your door. The building is quiet and the bed is super comfortable. Nadim was a great host, easy to get ahold of and very attentive. This was my first airbnb experience and i have to say it was an absolute pleasure!

  • If you think this place is too good to be true, stop thinking and book it before somebody else snatches it! The apartment is exactly as fantastic and classy as it looks in the photos (including the unreal luxury of a balcony facing Mont Royal) and the location is simply unbeatable: the Old Port, Mont Royal, Parc La Fontaine, Boulevard St-Laurent and all kinds of awesome neighborhoods are within walking distance, and for things that require a metro ride - well, the metro is literally steps away.

This was my first Airbnb experience and the folks hosting us were spectacular. Nadim is a pro, who is very quick to respond and very organized. We were welcomed in Montreal by Hany, who truly helped make our visit easy and fun. Super responsive over email and text, he made both check-in and check-out extremely painless despite my friends' warnings that key exchanges can sometimes get complicated with Airbnb hosts. Hany also knocked it out of the park with recommendations of sights to visit, things to do, restaurants to try and bars to check out -- we pretty much made our way down the list of suggestions that he had sent us and had such a blast! This was definitely a five-star Airbnb experience.

  • Just got back from Montreal and we miss it already! My wife said as we packed up: "will definitely be coming back to the city... and will definitely stay in the same place!"
The loft is everything you could want. 100% as advertised. Very spacious, open feel with the high ceilings. Windows are amazing. Quiet street. Quiet building. Very clean!
We were in Montreal when it was quite hot. Air conditioning worked wonderfully. Wireless internet was great.
Parking was a breeze. We left the car in an indoor lot two blocks away and never needed it. The loft is one block away from EVERYTHING! Subway, great restaurants!! So easy to navigate Montreal from this location.
Also, Nadim is very responsive. Everything from booking through check-in to check-out was easy. Whether via email, text, or phoning, he was always there to assist. Philippe was great about providing door codes when necessary; also sent very useful Montreal tips via email for our vacationing pleasure.
This was only our second airbnb experience and it was great... and made us VERY open to the entire concept.
I very much recommend this loft and Nadim! Happy travels!

  • We stayed at Nadim's apartment in Montreal for 3 nights and it was truly an ideal location- walking distance to just about anywhere you'd want to explore.

Communication with the renters was easy and efficient, we had no problem getting the keys and getting settled.

The apartment itself is simple, bright and clean. It served as a perfect home base to explore Montreal. There is a nice little living room and access to a nice back patio as well. If I had to list any slight complaints, I guess it would be the hard, futon-style mattress and cramped/awkward shower. Both very minor though!

We had no issues street parking, we just had to go a couple blocks down to avoid the permit zones. I found the signs are pretty easy to understand.

Overall, it was a very good stay and we'd certainly recommend it to others who want visit and explore Montreal.

  • Ma famille a été très satisfaite de son séjour dans cet appartement lumineux. Localisation parfaite, proche de tous les services.

  • We had a lovely stay here. Everything was as pictured. Nothing fancy, just clean and cozy. Plus some surprise beer in the fridge (courtesy of the previous guests). The neighbourhood was perfect. Well kept, quiet tree-lined street, within walking distance to great food, shopping, entertainment and green space. We arrived a bit early and Nadim made sure we could get in. He was very responsive and welcoming.

Parking was street only and a little tricky, with patchwork zones for permit-only and public. We were tired and it took us a minute to figure it out. But once we found a space we were fine for the weekend. There were some weekday time restrictions posted in the public zones, so I'd ask ahead for longer stays.

Also, if you're thinking of doing your own food prep, I'd recommend packing a roll with the basics, or at the very least a good chef's knife.

The back yard was nice, with gardens, grass, patio chairs/table and a grill. Though it looked to be shared with neighbours? That said, we never saw them. Or heard them. In all it was a peaceful spot.

We would happily stay here again.

    Response from Nadim:

Yes backyard is shared with just one neighbor.

I love living on the beach, surfing, running, biking, rollerblading, skateboarding, doing yoga, meditating, reading, and of course traveling. The most important thing to me when I meet people is to know that their are authentic human beings. If you are one.... I hope to meet you soon!
