The host is very nice and kind. And the place is so clean and comfortable. The home is with a beautiful view.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Diane and Paul who both made me welcome in their beautiful home. They are warm, friendly folks and I enjoyed our conversations each morning before I set off to visit my daughter who's interning in Grand Junction. I'd recommend their place to anyone, especially if you have a friendly dog like I do that you travel with. Layla, their Highland Terrier, is a busy little dog who made friends easily with my Labradoodle.
Although we did not have the opportunity to spend much time with Paul (Diane was on a retreat), their home's view was incredibly lovely. Their expansive porch looked out at the Colorado Monument, and we sat in the hot tub relaxing and looking at the stars, the monument and some nearby horses. Paul left out chocolates for us in the evening, and coffee in the morning - such a sweet touch. Thanks for hosting!
We had a very nice time, our hosts were very friendly and extremely helpful (regarding where to go have dinner, which places to visit in the area etcetera). The room is cozy, comfortable and very clean. The bathroom is also very good. When we arrived in the evening, we had a beer, and talked a bit. In the morning we got a nice cup of coffee, some toast with home made marmalade, and a super tasty banana muffin. To be honesty we didn't even need breakfast after that, haha. The house is in a very nice area, beautiful landscapes all over the place... I would highly recommend this airbnb!
This was my husbands and my first time to rent just a room on airbnb and we were not disappointed. The description of the accommodations was accurate, it was "A Comfortable Room"(and home). Diane was so gracious to accept our spontaneous reservation and she and Paul made us feel very welcome. Although it was a brief meeting we found we had things in common and would love to stay again to get more acquainted. And Layla also made us feel more at home since we had to leave our buddy behind on this trip.
Diane and Paul were lovely hosts, made us feel very welcome into their home. Amenities were great and our stay was memorable. Sipping champagne in a hot tub under a million stars was most certainly a treat! the dogs were lovely too :)
Diane and Paul were amazing hosts! I came from driving a few hours and was welcomed with the best food I had while in Grand Junction. I felt very at home and my room was perfect: cozy and clean, so was my private bath! I highly recommend staying with Diane and Paul!
My husband, Paul, is a geologist and works as a project manager for the Dept of Energy. I am a retired midwife and now run a gardening business during the summer months. We love to travel and have a cool off road type of pop up camper. We "float" the Colorado River in our inflatable kayaks and hike trails all over the area including Utah. We have a sweet 2 year old West Highland White Terrier, Layla. We love to entertain company at our beautiful house and look forward to sharing our spare "Comfortable Room" with guests.
