My husband says this was the best place we stayed on the whole trip--and we stayed in some elegant places. It is rustic but clean, well equipped, charming in every way.
This is a very beautiful little place set in tranquility on a working farm. The shack is put together very nicely with sweet touches to add to the experience and pretty much everything you need for deluxe camping -- i.e., hot plate, small fridge, a sink with running water right outside, a well kept outhouse and solar shower which at least provides a chance to clean up, and two single beds that double as a couch. The farm to table dinner is extremely tasty with much care put in by Denise. Shane is a delightful and gracious co-host with his parents. The farm tour is interesting and definitely educates. There aren't a huge number of things to do in the area, but if you want to be at peace and get to look at lovely fields and hearty well-tended livestock, this is the place.
Such a charming place! We had a great time exploring the farm, relaxing in the cabin and getting to know the owners and their staff. We can't wait to make this a regular getaway.
