This authentic Mongolian Ger is a cozy quiet getaway. Located in a peaceful field on a small farm with horses and goats. There is a small burner and tea kettle for heating water. Tea and coffee and french press are provided. In 2023 while I was competing in the world's longest horse race I stayed with numerous nomadic herding families in Mongolia and I felt compelled to put up a Mongolian Ger on my farm in Maine.

The space
Iron Ledge Farm is home to endurance horses, retired dairy goats and Great Pyrenees Livestock Guardian Dogs. Our working dogs do bark at night to ward off predators.

Guest have access to the Mongolian Ger and Composting Toilet and hiking trails on property, ask us about the trails!
