The neighborhood is called "Buena Vista", right next to the Castro, and is among one of the most coveted in the CIty. The place is very centrally located and is on a great block, just two blocks away from a beautiful park with magnificent city views.
Very convenient! Walkable to numerous neighborhoods, and different transit lines are within 2 blocks.
Other Things to Note
The apartment is very quiet so anyone sensitive to noise should be quite pleased.
Coffee and tea will be provided as well.
I take very good care of my home and expect you to do the same. It is perfect for those who want a quiet retreat in the City. If you are someone who wants to "bring the party home," my place is not for you. It is in a 4-unit condo building and while I am allowed to rent it out, I do not want my neighbors to be impacted by noise or anything else.
This was a fantastic place to stay, the apartment was spacious with a nice interior and gorgeous backyard with a view over the city, the pictures here don't do it justice! The location is perfect for getting around the city with public transport or enjoying the local surrounds; there are plenty of restaurants, cafe's and parks all within walking distance. Gia was always reachable and super helpful, even with our constantly changing plans! We loved staying here!
It is an excellent place to leave! Everything is perfect. The apartment is in a great location and neighbors are really nice. I have problems with the drier and TV, and Gia is helpful. The house is bigger than the pictures are shown. I would like to recommend it as a good place to live.
We stayed in Gia´s apartment for six weeks in August/September 2014. Gia was always were helpful, from the initial contact and until we checked out. She always responded very fast to our messages and inquires.
We visited SF with our 6 month old daughter and the apartment was a very good size for us. We also really appreciated the large kitchen. The views of downtown SF was great, both from the living room and the porch.
We didn´t know very much about the neighbourhood before we arrived, but we loved it. It was a quiet, residential area, but still close to everything. There are so many great restaurants and shops on Divisadero, and it is close to Mission, Golden Gate Park etc. We especially liked the 4505 BBQ place, Bi-Rite, The Mill, Bar Crudo and of course NOPA.
The apartment is close to the MUNI, just 2-3 minutes, so you can travel to downtown very easily.
All in all, a great place to stay if you want to experience a true SF neighbourhood.
Communication with Gia was very easy and reliable. We arrived quite late on the first day of our visit, and her friend Lyra met us at the apartment, gave us keys, showed us around, etc. The location of the apartment is really great. There are nice restaurants, cafes, etc. on Divisadero, and a fantastic organic deli / supermarket. The Little Chihuahua is really close and a great stop for Enchiladas, etc. It was super easy to get to Golden Gate Park or Haight, Alamo Square, Hayes Valley, etc. on foot and the transport links are easy too. The apartment is very comfortable, well equipped and looks as it does in the pictures. It is down a staircase to get to the apartment, so parts of the rooms are underground, but the front part of the apartment is light and bright and the mirrors help to reflect light around. The French windows, decking and the garden are wonderful - better than I had expected. We often ate lunch outside and the views of the city in the evening light are incredible. We had a great time.
My wife, 2 year old son and I stayed at Gia's place for a week in late June early July. We had a fabulous stay. The apartment is in a great neighborhood with easy access to shops, restaurants and transit. The apartment is well equipped and bigger than it looks in the photos. We ate several meals in the garden and soaked in the sun. Gia was very accommodating of our son and readily provided a pack'n'play and baby tub for use during our stay.
Next time we are in San Francisco we hope to return to Gia's place.
My father and I traveled from Los Angeles to San Francisco to see all five of the California MLB stadiums.
We stayed at Gia's place and had a fantastic time. Excellent location and surrounded by easy public transportation and great food.
Highly recommend. Very clean and beats a hotel any day!
The apartment and location were great. Gia was very friendly. I'd recommend staying here.
