Stay in a Georgian house in the heart of Dublin city. This house is beautifully appointed with period decorated rooms, a charming kitchen and 3 large double bedrooms.
The house is owner occupied and one of the other rooms is occupied by a long term tenant. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly and we invite you to treat the house as your own !
We are located at the back of Trinity college adjacent to Windmill lane where U2 recorded their first albums. 50m away is the river Liffey and a lovely walk down to the new and exciting Hanover quay. We are only 12min walk from Grafton st and 8m into Temple Bar. The area is very safe and quiet at night time.
In terms of access the Dart train system is only 5 minutes away giving easy access South to Bray or North to picturesque Howth & Malahide.

The DART local rail system and Luas tram system are both within 5 minutes from the house. Also 'Dublin Bike' stations are located at the end of the street !
Please be respectful of the house, absolutely no smoking, other than that enjoy the comfort and easy access to Dublin.
Staying with Georgia and Gar was a pleasure. The house and the room were great, and both they and their roommates were very welcoming. The house is also ideally located for exploring the city and getting around. I would definitely recommend staying here.
We had to add 1 night to our stay in the Georgia and Garr apartment as we arrived 1 day earlier as expected. Unfortunately the apartment was occupied for this night, however Georgia suggested us to stay in this double room for the first night in Dublin. Thus we just had to move the next day to the very comfortable flat in the same house! We appreciated Georgia's warm welcome and good tips to travel in Ireland and we for sure will come back to the same address for our next stay in Dublin!
Georgia welcomed me to the house with a brief tour and suggestions for evening dining. That evening I had a pleasant chat with Gar & Georgia with the smell of baking in the kitchen (preparation for a friend's birthday cake), but unfortunately because this was a work trip I was out most of the time, and otherwise I hardly saw my hosts.
The house is perfectly positioned for the Dublin Convention Centre, just a short walk away across the bridge, or Trinity College - and is also in easy walking distance of the city centre. I was very happy with my stay.
I stayed here for 2 weeks and I was extremely happy with my choice to stay at the room Georgia and Gar have available. Georgia & Gar and Greg (the 3 G's haha) & Chiara were all very nice, welcoming and more than willing to help with directions, things to do, etc. The room was very spacious and was very thankful I for the full/queen size bed as opposed to a lot of places that just have a twin.
The room is right near downtown so I was able to walk everywhere. If you don't like walking a lot there is a bus stop very close so you can just do that. Also, there are 2 bars and a Centro (small grocery store) about 5 minutes away if you want something quick.
Neighborhood is great with apartments all around and then some demolition of old buildings going on across the street during the week (probably to build new apartments).
Overall, this is a great place to stay that is super close to downtown, have your own room, and meet awesome locals :)
It was such a pleasure staying in this lovely home. Each person in the house is interesting, genuine and fun, and together they make a wonderfully welcoming and hospitable environment. Georgia's love for Dublin is infectious, and she gave me valuable insider's tips. The house itself is comfortable, clean and in a great area. I feel so lucky to have stayed there and hope to visit again soon!
Never felt more at home! It was so nice to spend a whole week with Georgina, Gar and Greg - they're exceptionally generous with the space in the house which really helped as I was working a lot during my time there. It truly was like I had relocated in my own flat ! Location is great and super easy to get everywhere by foot/bike
We loved staying with Georgia and Gar! We also enjoyed meeting their roommate, Greg, and listening to him play the piano. The house is in a great location, within walking distance of many attractions, and safe to walk at night. We were warmly welcomed and made to feel at home the whole time. Pictures accurately show the comfy space. Georgia even helped with sightseeing recommendations and made reservations at a nice restaurant for us. I'd definitely recommend staying here!
