The Space

Experience the real San Francisco and stay where the locals live. Whether you're visiting for business or pleasure, this is the perfect location. This is a quiet, safe neighborhood which makes it great for families and couples traveling together. I can also provide parking for you which is a great benefit since parking in SF is quite challenging and pricey.

You're just a 15 minute walk to Baker Beach, a 15 minute walk to Presidio, a 20 minute walk to Golden Gate Park and 12 blocks from Lincoln Park Golf Course. The Legion of Honor, The DeYoung Museum and Land's End (Coastal Trail that runs about six miles along the bluff above the sea boasting spectacular views) are also a 20 minute walk. There is an express bus that gets you downtown in 25 minutes and there are also several bus stops nearby to get you anywhere in San Francisco.

Your charming neighborhood coffee shop is just a few doors down and there are lots of great restaurants just within a few blocks including the best wood fired pizza place in the city (in my opinion) and the best vietnamese crab restaurant (also in my opinion).

The flat is a modern, stylish, clean and quiet 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom Edwardian with a large living room, a working gas fireplace, dining room and a full kitchen with granite counter tops. My sister owns the flat upstairs which is where I'll be, so someone is always around if you ever need anything.

Each bedroom can accommodate up to 2 adults. There is a very comfortable queen size bed in each room and it's fairly sunny during the day (unless we're fogged in) and pretty dark and quiet in the evenings (perfect for sleeping). There is one bathroom.

Eating good food and trying all types of restaurants is one of my favorite past times so I can be of assistance to you when searching for the best places to eat. I love good wine, museums and travel. In fact, I am a travel agent by trade, so feel free to use me as a resource if you have any travel related questions.

Please fill out the Air Bed n' Breakfast profile or tell me something about yourself (selves) before making a reservation.

Thank you!

  • This was absolutely the nicest place to stay, a wonderful first AirBnB experience, and sooo comfortable, too! Noreen's pictures and description of her flat and neighborhood are very accurate; the photos reveal a space that looks appealing because it truly is just as it's pictured, and her book with all kinds of info about her home and places to eat and shop nearby are helpful and welcoming, as well. We felt right at home from the first minute when her sister came out to the sidewalk to greet us and to show us around the flat. Noreen's emails prior to arrival were timely and helpful, and both she and her sister were in communication with us during our stay to ensure that everything was going smoothly. We will definitely stay here again when returning to SF, if it's available!

  • Noreen was a excellent host and her flat was the perfect place for a family of four with two teenagers to relax after touring San Francisco. My husband and I had one room, my daughter the other and my son was comfortable on the couch, however, Noreen also had an air mattress available. We loved the gas fireplace and the ate in the neighborhood a few times. Loved Angelina's for coffee and pastry in the morning. Noreen was quick to communicate and check in / check out were a breeze. She left a binder with lots of information on dinning and anything we would need to know about the flat. The neighborhood was safe and it would have been nice to been a bit closer to downtown, but we would have driven in anyway, and we used a parking app to find the cheapest parking near the tourist areas (all day; approx. $20). At night, it was relatively easy to find a space to park our car on the street by the flat. I would definitely stay here again!

  • Noreen's place was exceptionally clean, cute, and cozy. She made checking-in and out a breeze, and made sure everything was labeled so there was no confusion about what guests could and couldn't use. The neighborhood is VERY quiet and safe, with restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. We had absolutely no issues staying here, and Noreen even texted us during our stay just to make sure things were going well. If I ever need a 2 bedroom in San Francisco again, I'll definitely be coming back here!

  • Meeting Noreen as we arrived on the first day of our stay was an absolute pleasure. She was as friendly and helpful in person as she was in her previous emails. Having the Information Binder which contained instructions in regards to the flat (garbage pick up days, street parking, local bus routes, reviews on local restaurants, markets, places of interest and coffee shops, etc) was so helpful. The photos of the flat correctly represented the accommodation provided. We specifically chose to stay in the Richmond area of San Francisco due to family reasons and we found that we were within walking distance of many of our destinations. The choices of shops and eateries on both Geary and Clement streets were varied and plentiful. The buses were easy to work out on California Street and on Geary Blvd to get to other parts of the city. It is a nice and quiet neighbourhood with some lovely homes to see when walking around, especially towards Lake Street and the Sea Cliff area. The flat was a beautiful and relaxing oasis to come back to at the end of each day. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that was needed when we cooked at home. We felt totally relaxed and at home the whole time we were there.

  • Noreen's place is beautiful and she was a great host. We were traveling with friends and arrived and departed at different times and she was able to accommodate us. She even met us after hours to let us in. Her place is located in a great area. There are coffee shops, restaurants, retail shops, all within walking distance. We had a light bulb go out and she addressed the issue very quickly. She seems very experienced as a host and provides great customer service while being friendly and professional at the same time. I would definitely recommend her place for anyone looking for a 2 Bdrm. in the Richmond area.

  • I really had a great time in Noreen's condo with my mum and best friend. The condo is clean and located in quiet and safe neighborhood. And my mum loved the kitchen so much haha. Noreen is so caring and easygoing, she even offer us a ride to downtown for breakfast since we didn't take our car from rental agency in the first day. Will definitely stay again next time.

Like most San Franciscans, eating good food and trying all types of restaurants is one of my favorite past times. I enjoy cooking, entertaining and listening to live music. I have as much fun doing indoor activities (IE: reading, watching movies, dancing), as I do outdoor activities (IE: hiking, kayaking, scuba diving). I live for a weekend getaway whether it’s planned or spontaneous. I consider wine tasting through any wine region a good way to spend the day, and I am in constant search of the perfect beach. So far, my vote is Anguilla. I work in the Travel Industry, so my short list gets longer and longer. I would love to get to Africa very soon!
