About This Listing
**Depending on your dates, I can be somewhat flexible with the minimum number of nights**
The flat is a modern, stylish, clean and quiet 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom Edwardian with a large living room, a working gas fireplace, dining room and a full kitchen with granite counter tops.
Each bedroom can accommodate up to 2 adults. There is a very comfortable queen size bed in each room and it's fairly sunny during the day (unless we're fogged in) and pretty dark and quiet in the evenings (perfect for sleeping). There is one bathroom.
Guests have access to everything in the flat except the computer. However, if you are in need of internet access, I can give you use of an Ipad. I also reserve heavy laundry use for guests staying for 5+ days.
Interaction with Guests
My sister owns the flat upstairs which is where one of us will be, so someone is always around if you ever need anything. However, we will respect your privacy and you may hear us upstairs from time to time, but you will only see us if you want to :).
Experience the real San Francisco and stay where the locals live. Whether you're visiting for business or pleasure, this is the perfect location. This is a quiet, safe neighborhood which makes it great for families and couples traveling together. Parking can be tricky in San Francisco which makes my area a bit more desirable if you have a car. It is further away from the main tourist attractions, but still accessible.
You're just a 15 minute walk to Baker Beach, a 15 minute walk to Presidio, a 20 minute walk to Golden Gate Park and 12 blocks from Lincoln Park Golf Course. The Legion of Honor, The DeYoung Museum and Land's End (Coastal Trail that runs about six miles along the bluff above the sea boasting spectacular views) are also a 20 minute walk.
Your charming neighborhood coffee shop is just a few doors down and there are lots of great restaurants just within a few blocks including the best wood fired pizza place in the city (in my opinion) and the best vietnamese crab restaurant (also in my opinion).
Muni is nearby and can get you anywhere in the city. The #1 California is 1/2 block away and the #38 Geary is 2 blocks away. Both lines can get you anywhere in the city.
Other Things to Note
Garage parking can be included for an additional fee but only with prior approval. There are time when the garage cannot be offered.
We live in a quiet building and neighborhood. If you would like to invite additional friends or family into my home while you are visiting, I would appreciate you letting me know in advance.
Just treat my place as you would your own and be respectful of my home.
Noreen greeted us upon arrival and reviewed a few minor changes that have happened since we stayed in her flat last time; she was always available by text and responded promptly to a couple of inquiries. Noreen accommodated several special requests without any hesitation, and we felt at ease and right at home the entire stay. She's a superb host, very thoughtful, and her instruction/suggestion book is very clear. The photos with her listing perfectly represent the flat; no surprises, except that we loved the place even more the second stay!
We enjoyed our stay at the Flat During our 4 day getaway. Noreen is a great hostess and the flat was more than comfortable for the 4 of us. Clean and spacious and Noreen was sure to tell us all the ins and outs of the city. The neighbourhood had the best little pizza shop and Angelina's Coffee Shop on the corner was amazing. Noreen's neighbourhood was a walk away to Bakers Beach where the views of the GG Bridge were amazing. We had access to the rest of the city by Metro which was literally outside the door. It's a place we would stay again!
This was the absolute best Airbnb experience I could have asked for! The flat was even more gorgeous and spacious than in the pictures and was absolutely immaculate when I arrived. It was fully equipped with everything I needed from day one, so moving in required minimal effort. Noreen was an incredible host and went out of her way to make sure that I had an enjoyable and comfortable experience, even checking in a couple times during my stay to make sure that everything was still going smoothly. The neighborhood was also spectacular--beautiful, great food (thanks for the restaurant recommendations, Noreen!), very walkable, etc. All in all, there is nothing negative I can say about the experience. Thanks for an incredible stay, Noreen!
Five star experience. Noreen was a wonderful host. She was there to greet us on arrival and was very flexible with our travel plans.
She gave us numerous recommendations for things to do and eat and was spot on for every one of them.
Her home in the Richmond neighborhood was a great base for our week in SF. It's truly a neighborhood and has a great laid back vibe to it.
I would definitely stay here again.
Noreen and her sister Mabel could not have been more welcoming and kind. They did everything to make our stay easy and pleasant from saving as a parking space to recommending the best bakeries in SF to finding us a place to print our boarding pass. Noreen is excellent at getting back to any enquiry quickly and helpfully.
The apartment is exactly as listed - spacious living area, incredibly well-appointed kitchen, two good sized bedrooms with lots of storage space and a powerful shower. All tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean.
We really enjoyed being in Richmond too and exploring a more residential and not so tourist-heavy area. The park, beach and Presidio is walkable with downtown is easily accessible by public transport. The corner shop is really well stocked and Angelina's on the corner is great for your morning croissants or breakfast.
Noreen gives great recommendations for places to eat . We loved the little Pizzette 221 for eat in or takeaway and Aziza's is really special if you want somewhere fancy.
In short loved the city, loved the area, loved the apartment, loved the host.
Noreen was very accessible before, during and after the stay (great follow up after checkout even). She made sure to reach out to us a week or so before our check in date to coordinate our schedules.
The location is excellent with easy access to most of San Francisco. Very close to GGP/Presidio/Sausalito. A short Muni ride to downtown area.
Parking is a bit tough in the neighborhood but Noreen and her sister was very gracious in allowing us to block their driveway a few times. Usually parking is easily secured within 2 blocks of the apartment.
Great area for a quick walk for restaurants and cafes.
House is as described and very spacious. Plenty of towels and linen in the house. Great kitchen with more than sufficient tableware/cookware etc. Noreen was kind enough to share her condiments/basic cooking stuff with us during our stay.
Perfect stay with a great location. Not much more to say...
Thanks for the amazing stay Noreen.
This was my first time at San Francisco. We were four and we stayed on the apartment for 5 days. The apartment was really as advertised, wonderful, spacious, perfected located in a quiet neighborhood, with free parking on the streets and 15 minutes to Downtown by car, which we rented for the week.
Noreen is very organized. The apartment was perfectly organized too. Very clean and comfortable, with a big kitchen fully furnished in which we cooked very easily. A notebook was there with all important information about not only the apartment, but also the restaurants, grocery market and the neighborhood. The internet was fast.
We were checked in by Mabel, Noreen’s sister. She was helping us during the entire stay. Both, Noreen and Mabel make us feel at home. They were always there ready to help us.
Noreen’s place was everything I was wondering during my stay in SF. I truly recommend it if you come to SF.

About the Host, Noreen
Like most San Franciscans, eating good food and trying all types of restaurants is one of my favorite past times. I enjoy cooking, entertaining and listening to live music. I have as much fun doing indoor activities (IE: reading, watching movies, dancing), as I do outdoor activities (IE: hiking, kayaking, scuba diving). I live for a weekend getaway whether it’s planned or spontaneous. I consider wine tasting through any wine region a good way to spend the day, and I am in constant search of the perfect beach. So far, my vote is Anguilla. I work in the Travel Industry, so my short list gets longer and longer. I would love to get to Africa very soon!
