Tisone met us at Fondamente Nove in the pouring rain to guide us to the apartment. He had detailed information on where to find local shops. He supplied enough groceries to get us started and a bottle of wine. The apartment is beautiful, in a quite location but central. With personally chosen art works and books. It was a pleasure and experience just to stay there. Thank you again, Tisone
Grazie mille Francesco!
This was my first Airbnb experience and I was very impressed. Tisone provided very clear information on how to get to the apartment and lots of goodies for breakfast - and of course a bottle of red wine. It was also great having a few basic cooking supplies in hand as well eg oil, sugar, salt, balsamico. Tisone's recommendations for a few different restaurants were also great. The location is perfect - away from the maddening Carnevale crowds yet still so close to the Rialto and San Marco's. Thank you very much Tisone for your kindness. I would love to stay again on my next visit to Venezia.
We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived, Tisone was unobtrusive, helpful and accommodating. The apartment was everything we could have expected; it was warm and peaceful, homely and clean and a great situation - the view from the windows overlooked a quiet canal. We were near lovely restaurant, interesting shops and almost next door one of the most beautiful buildings in the world - Santa Maria dei Miracoli.
So many good things to report! Communication with Tisone was easy, and he waited for us at the Alilaguna stop to take us to the apartment. The refrigerator was stocked with basic supplies, and there were some fruit and a bottle of wine for us. The location of the apartment is excellent - close to Rialto, San Marco, and other attractions. The apartment itself was roomy and comfortable for two people. Its high ceilings added a feeling of spaciousness. We stayed in Venice during a cold spell (temperatures hovered around the freezing point), yet the apartment's heating system worked well and we always felt warm indoors. Thank you, Tisone, for your wonderful hospitality!
The arrangements with our host were perfect. He met us at the vaporetto stop and conducted us to the apartment. Everything there was as it should be and we had a most comfortable stay. Tisone had been kind enough to leave us some basic supplies, including a bottle of wine. The apartment is in a wonderful position in Venice, close to a vaporetto stop and within easy walking distance of all the major sights. There are several excellent restaurants within easy reach and we found the area very quiet, yet interesting to walk around. All-in-all, one of our best Airbnb experiences to date.
