Tisone's home was wonderful! His hospitality was second to none! We really appreciated him meeting us at the water bus stop and the food he left for us was greatly appreciated. We really appreciated him and hope to return soon!!
We had a wonderful time in Venice. Charming apartment, very good equipped and great view to the canal from the window. Good nighborhood and short way to St. Mark's Square.
Tisone is a great host. He had left some good things in the fridge such as wine, Limoncello and food for breakfast. He is very helpfull and responded quickly, both before and during our stay. Tisone met us at the Fondamente Nove when we arrived, which we very much appreciated. Air-condition and wifi worked very vel.
Our warmest recommendations for this apartment and host!
Our host Tisone welcomed us with opened arms. He had a bottle of wine, walnuts, plum cakes, butter and pancetta already for us upon arrival. There was also jelly, toast and an apple. He is a gentleman and scholar. He made us feel as if his apartment was our own. He gave us wonderful tips and ideas about Venice and made terrific suggestions.
My wife Francesca and I, Lorenzo (both from New York) could not have asked for a better apartment or host. The apartment was perfectly situated in a calm and peaceful area that was so very close to all the sights. Beneath our kitchen window was a canal. Yours heard the gondoliers singing and giving the passengers guided tours. You also heard the call ahead to let coming gondoliers know they were making a turn. What a beautiful view of the canal, people, surroundings and the sky.
We were so very fortunate to select Tisone's place. It was very large, comfortable and the views from the windows was fantastic. We loved looking out the windows into the courtyard.
We were so delighted with all of the kitchen had to offer. Stove, refrigerator, sink, two windows, toaster, expresso coffee makerand all the utensils and plates we needed. The air conditioners were great. We truly felt as if we were residents in Venice! It was our home for eight nights.
The apartment was situated on a quiet street which made it feel very calming. Some nights we sat right on the side steps of the canal adjacent to the bridge. We could not believe we were in Venice. Just a block from the bridge there were several places to eat and drink vino. If we walked a couple of minutes more, there were more places to shop and eat. A little further and you were in the heart of Venice. We took a couple of day drips to Burano and Torcello. The walk to the boats was 5 to 7 minutes. To do food shopping it took us less than 5 minutes.
We would definitely stay at Tisone's apartment on our next visit to Venice. We loved our trip and the apartment!

Marie and I had a wonderful stay. We were impressed by the ease with which we were able to reach all sites of interest from here. The canal scene from the window is superb, full of activity with the local people. You were extremely helpful in assisting us in our efforts to explore Venice and for this we thank you. Grazie mille for the apartment.
We would recommend this area as a great place to stay.

Tisone's apartment is (perfectly) situated in one of the nicest neighborhoods of Venice but also near Sant Marc, Arsenale and many other museums, churches and monuments where you can go walking.
As you can see on the photos, the apartment is simple, clean, comfortable and has a charming view on one of the many canals of the city.
The day of our arrival, a nice surprise was waiting for us in the fully equiped kitchen : a bottle of wine and various goodies for our breakfast.
Both Tisone and his daughter - who welcomed us at the vaporetto station upon our arrival from the airport - are really nice people and have very good advices on restaurants, pastry shops and bakeries!
Many of them are in the neighborhood (some at 1 min walking from the apartment, perfect when you're tired from a long day).
We're really happy to have chosen Tisone's apartment for our staying in Venice.
Tisone was a great host. Very quick to answer and was very helpful for all our needs. His place is super located and very equipped. It was very clean and inviting. For us it was a great vocation!
