Sylvia is very helpful and made our stay very comfortable.
House is quite far from the centre but Sylvia dropped us to the station every time. She even guided us about Athens.
Cake prepared by her mom was awesome.
It was nice to meet Sylvia! She helped us to get to know Athens better. Despite the fact we stayed quite far from the city center, we could travel quickly and comfortably with her. Thank you for all your help and I promise to deliver your father's wine to his friend as soon as possible.
Silvia's place was amazing. Very clean, comfortable & functional.
His dad pick it us up at the airport and even he didn't speak good English he made our day! Showing us the convenient places around the neighborhood as we passed by close to them and explaining the house instructions, so much fun, he even gave the final touches to the welcoming cake! (Delicious by the way)
There is a convenient way to arrive downtown by bus.
Silvia is very friendly. She spend quality time with us after we arrived our second day at night. She was so kind to give us a ride to take our ferry very early in the morning when we left.
Already missing the days at Athens will certainly return to Silvia's place.
Sylvia did a great job of making us feel welcome! Sylvia and her family were very friendly and hospitable. The apartment is very comfortable and the kitchen is a great feature. We all slept very comfortably. Although the apartment is far from the center of Athens, Sylvia and her family were extremely helpful with driving us to train stations to get to the city quickly and easily. Not only did we love Athens itself but we loved staying here!
We had an amazing time in Greece made even better by staying with Sylvia. Our wonderful experience began with her father picking us up from the airport. Despite the language barrier we laughed the whole way home and were welcomed to the apartment with Greek coffee and Polish cake. We experienced amazing Greek hospitality through our whole stay and loved every minute of it. Sylvia dropped everything to pick us up or drop us off at the train station and was full of great recommendations of things to do, see, and eat around Athens. Sylvia went out of her way to take us to an amazing restaurant where we had a great time getting to know one another. She even took us on a cable car ride up a mountain! It was a great experience made even better by having Sylvia to show us around. The apartment was very nice and exactly what we were expecting. It was the best sleep I've had since being in Europe for 3 months! If I return to Athens someday I will definitely be staying with Sylvia and can't recommend her highly enough. Loved it and would go back tomorrow if I could!
Sylvia and her family were the perfect hosts. Her mother even made us a delicious cake! Sylvia offered many suggestions about what to see and how to get there and was very helpful. The apartment was a good location in a nice area with a supermarket and delicious bakery within walking distance. Our living quarters were spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean. We would definitely stay with Sylvia again.
About the Host, Sylvia
I am an interior decorator from Athens, born and studied in Poland, living upstairs the apartment with my parents Vasilis and Christina. Love to travel_especially to the Greek islands, meeting new people, the cinema and driving my car around Athens. But hosting from all over the world is just a superb experience!
