Welcome!

Apartment:
Our bright and sunny apartment is lovingly furnished, centrally located and clean. We're both avid travelers, so we know how great it can be to find a place where you can be comfortable and relaxed on the road.

The apartment itself is built in the 1950s - a rarity in San Francisco - so it's modern with loads of character. The entire front is glass, so you see sweeping views of the San Francisco city skyline, palm trees and Bay area harbors. We're not kidding when we say that you'll probably get the most sunlight in this apartment than you've ever had with any other place (if you want to). We're on the top floor so you'll have your own private balcony, and there's roof access for BBQs, lounging and more sun. It really is a unique piece of architecture.

It's great for couples, visiting parents and parents traveling with small children. There is elevator access.

Location:
The neighborhood is awesome. We're located blocks away from Dolores Park right on Dolores Street -- the most beautiful street in San Francisco IMHO -- and we're tucked between Noe Valley and the Mission, two of the liveliest, charming and interesting neighborhoods in the city. We're blocks away from the main Valencia corridor, where there are amazing restaurants, clothing boutiques, galleries, coffeeshops, bars and bookstores. We're also close to the 24th street artery, where there are amazing ethnic food and a cute farmer's market on the weekends. It really doesn't get much better than this if you are looking for a neighborhood where San Franciscans love to live.

Transportation:
We're blocks away from the 24th St BART station, if you're arriving from the airport or downtown. We're also a few blocks away from the MUNI J line, which takes you directly through the Castro, Market, Noe Valley, Hayes Valley, Downtown, Embarcadero, Ferry Building SOMA, AT&T baseball stadium and the CalTrain station.

Amenities:
- Fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven, etc.
- Living room
- Bedroom with king-sized bed
- Washer & dryer for laundry
- Super clean bathroom (with skylight!)
- Wireless internet
- Cable TV
- Heat
- Full pantry
- Air mattress (if you need it)
- Loads of books
- A few bikes if you'd like to ride
- Street parking (usually lots of spaces)

Since it's our home, we are looking for folks who are verified in some way - whether it's through airbnb reviews, or(website hidden)or (website hidden) verification on your airbnb profile. It helps us know you're a real person!

  • Great apartment in a great location location (close to BART and Muni), comfortable huge bed, good heating (it can get quite cold in SF in winter).

Josh was responsive and very friendly. I can definitely recommend this place.

Pro-tip: It took me a few minutes to figure out how to switch from faucet to shower: there is a ring at the faucet (where the water is coming out) that needs to be pulled down.

  • Beautiful view. Wonderful apartment. Josh was very friendly, and we had no problem picking up the keys, even when Josh was out of town. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

  • Josh's appt was AMAZING! The views are even better than the photos. I couldn't get over how beautiful it was and tastefully furnished. It's SUPER centrally located right by Dolores Park, 2 blocks from Noe Valley, and Valencia - great restaurants. Also, Josh left notes for us and provided everything we needed, clean linens, huge bed, this was probably the best AirBNB experience I've had. I would definitely recommend and stay again!

  • Great stay! Josh was super quick to respond and really easy to work with... Even with our last minute planning! The apt was really stylish and the location can't be beat. There was even a nice 'Happy Anniversary' card for us on our arrival. Will certainly stay here again.

About
I design websites and mobile products for a living - but when I'm not working, I love traveling all over the world and meeting new people. My favorite adventures include discovering new food, people and natural scenes. Standout adventures for me have been Western China, Laos, Turkey, Jordan and New Zealand. I always carry a camera with me (I love old cameras) and loving hiking and surfing and scuba diving. (website hidden)
