Come enjoy country living in our 1830s post and beam farmhouse on 18 acres of field, pond and forest. Wander the property, then relax and take in the view from the back porch, or retire to your cozy, comfortable bedroom with queen bed and separate sitting area.
The sprawling property has many lovely nooks and crannies: an overgrown orchard, gorgeous old barn, vegetable and herb gardens. Join us for a bonfire in the firepit, or follow the path down to the spring-fed pond and you can listen to the bullfrogs, or visit the island where our wild goose friend returns every year to hatch her eggs.
You'll have access to the kitchen, dining room, beautiful back porch, tv/sitting room and spacious washroom.
We're located one hour east of Toronto, across the road from 11,000 acres of trails in the Ganaraska Forest, 10 minutes from Mosport Speedway, and you can see the Oshawa Ski Club's hills from our back porch.
Please see our separate listing for the pretty Victorian cottage that overlooks the pond.

The host and hostess of this home are a wonderful pair. It could not be more beautiful there. Great views and lovely are and antiques everywhere. They treated me like family and feed me too! Loved staying there.
Thank you for the delicious breakfasts, the cozy rooms and going out of your way to make lunch for us! This was the nicest B&B I have ever stayed at and I was so happy we chose it for the night of our wedding! Janie was so easy going! My husband and I stayed in the cottage which was so adorable and comfy and our friends stayed in the charming room in the farmhouse, which was also romantic and comfy! We were provided with everything we would need: towels, soap, breakfast, etc. The rooms were both very clean and so was the house! The back deck/patio space is so serene, you feel like you have been transported to a far off land! Blue jays and humming birds on the nearby bird houses and posts join you while you enjoy a delicious breakfast, that Janie will gear to your diet or appetite! The morning of the wedding Janie sent my friend and I off with homemade basil and cheese scones, which we gobbled up! Everything was easy going and perfect! We really enjoyed our stay and are planning on coming back for our 1st Anniversary if not sooner!
