  • Yvonne’s private room in downtown Raleigh was perfect for our needs – a clean and private place to sleep with a private bathroom. Yvonne’s house is just as it appears in the pictures; very clean, nice colors and artfully decorated. Yvonne, her husband and their two gentle, big dogs greeted us upon arrival. We felt welcome and at home. Their neighborhood is lovely with tree lined streets. She gave us great suggestions for places to eat. We would love to stay again if we are in the Raleigh area.

  • Yvonne and her husband were very gracious and accommodating. The room and bathroom were private and comfortable! I was even allowed to make myself a cup of coffee at 5:00 in the morning! The dogs were lovely. Very sweet and pettable. Thanks guys!

  • Loved staying at Yvonne & Adam's place. Totally met and exceeded my expectations. They and the resident dogs are friendly and welcoming, but also left me to do my thing. Worked well because I was attending a wedding and related events. I loved being able to borrow a bike. The room was great, with nice touches--reading material, including an anthology about Raleigh; a (website hidden)Map with recommended spots; Greenway map for biking or walking. They also offered a great range of beverages in the fridge. Bedroom was nice sized with a desk and closet space. I felt comfortable using the kitchen and thoroughly enjoyed sitting at a table on the front porch and enjoying the breeze and the birds in the trees. A couple of warmer summer days, but didn't need to have AC on with a nice ceiling fan. Oh--and their mini-gym in a front room was a nice option to have, though I didn't have time to use it. Convenience to downtown Raleigh was great. I was able to walk to some great restaurants plus close as well to Oakwood & the famous cemetery. I liked the neighborhood too. Was quiet, may not have been the ritziest (aka Oakwood) but decently kept up and down-home feeling. Plenty of street parking for my rental, as well. Overall, I was wishing I'd stayed an extra day to enjoy the space and the location. Thanks so much, Yvonne, Adam, Papi, and Leelah for a great, friendly place to stay!

  • I've been visiting Raleigh for years, and this was my best stay ever. Yvonne and Adam are lovely folks, naturally hospitable. The room and bath are very private and the wifi worked without a hitch. Their house is located just a couple of miles from the office where I was working during my stay, on a lightly-traveled bicycle route. I brought a bike and rode past lovely old houses, under a nearly contiguous tree canopy.

  • I would like to say it was perfect. Every facility is clear and comfortable to use. Even though I had not enough time to look around a city, Yvonne thankfully rented me a bike. They also gave me a ride to bus station when I left. Not to mention, they were great, and I could feel satisfied when I stayed. Thank you all!

  • Had a great stay with Yvonne, the room was private, the dogs sweet, and Yvonne and her husband totally wonderful. The neighborhood is really nice, and having a bike made the commute to downtown an easy 15 minute ride!

  • Yvonne and Adam were really a pleasure to stay with! They are very easygoing and made us feel comfortable and at home. Their dogs were very sweet and affectionate. We had a ton of privacy since our bedroom was downstairs and there's was upstairs. I loved their workout room for yoga and meditation. Would definitely stay again!
