Daily.... we enjoy our guests. Our guests are some of the most special people our world has to offer. They come from around the world. We entertain honeymooners, anniversary folks, vacation getaway to one of the most incredible places on earth here in the Southern Outer Banks, military officers and families visiting them at the 2nd largest Marine Corp base in the world just 3 miles away Camp Lejeune, kayakers, hikers, fishermen and fisherwomen and so many more great folks. All are welcome except those that don't know the word respect.
The natural beauty that surrounds us. The waterways the fresh air the wildlife nature at it's finest and always in motion. The generational gardens the historic villages the fabulous men and women of our military. Not saying the military industrial corporations which we detest like Eisenhower did, but the men and women and their families of our military are priceless folks.
The historic villages still have family locally owned and operated restaurants retail stores and tourist attractions.. PRICELESS. You can step out of mainstream Corporate bland all alike world. Generational businesses here.
The local farm and fish markets that have been in business here for generations locally caught fish and grown fruits and veggies, awesome stuff. The White Oak River that runs through Swansboro is one of the 20% of the waterways in America that we can still eat the fish and seafood from without fear of toxic chemicals. The water supply are from deep water wells in forests. The Croatan National Forest is minutes away and is part of the largest coastal forest in the USA, priceless. Just can't say enough...folks don't flip the bird or blow their horn at you even if you make a mistake...
You will experience nature as God created it.

Quite time from 2200 (10PM to 0800 ( 8 AM )
The host made us very welcome and did everything possible to make us comfortable. The TV was not initially working but the host got it repaired. It was quiet and peaceful. The suite included a separate sitting area from the bedroom and bathroom.
It was awesome having David and Jean stay with us. Unfortunate that Time Warner wasn't able to respond the same day with repair for the cable in the suite. It does happen. If we had a choice we would certainly pick another other than Time Warner. Directv is just as bad. I am hoping soon to get a TV antenna for the local stations then just use our fantastic internet speeds for Netflix Roku HBOgo .
Robert and the White House were both amazing! We enjoyed visiting each of his recommendations (I.e. Restaurants, hikes in the Croaton National Forest and Fort Macon) the accommodations are great and the area is amazing, this was a huge highlight of our trip!
We benefited from a large room with a little extension for the office plus a nice bathroom.
The kitchen is great and the other guests we met (Laura and TJ) were very nice to meet. A great experience altogether with special thanks to Robert, our host for his warm welcome.
Robert is a great host, right from the start he made us feel welcomed, helped us get our stuff from the car into the house. He gave us a free upgrade on our room which was very nice of him. The house and rooms look better than in the pictures, everything is very clean, fresh, and we had everything we needed for our stay. The house is located on a very nice property with woods, there is a place to relax outside as well. Robert is very helpful and is always available via text or phone and is able to answer questions about the area.
My wife and I liked the stay so much that we stayed an extra night.
Highly recommend his place to anyone.
Next time when we'll venture out to the coast will definatelly check to see if Robert has a room available before looking at other places.

About the Host, Robert
I love the coast nature and people. I am a real estate broker for over 30 years. I had to stop selling when the bubble became apparent to me and no one else cared. I could not sell properties to folks that I knew would blow up in their faces even though most didn't care. So my business partner and I endeavored to create accommodations for folks to stay where they feel at home comfortable important and easy on the bank account. I treat everyone as if they are family and friend because I always hope that others when working with my family and friends treat them the same. Respect responsibility and vision woven together with passion is the fabric of my life. I have worked with folks all my life and being the oldest of 8 siblings work great with people.
I truly believe in the golden rule do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I ascribe to no man created religion although I am an ordained minister and my church is God's Earth Church. GEC is a church without walls without rules and speculation only to know that the Creator of all things has orchestrated a beautiful world that we have lived in and people that cross paths through our lives and to treat all with great respect thankfulness and kindness.
