appartamento accogliente, caldo e ben posizionato. Siamo stati bene
I booked this by personal recommendation and I wasn't disappointed! It's a great location, within walking distance of may of the areas in Rome: 5 minutes max to the Tiber. Joseph is a great host; he is not obtrusive but easily available by email or text should you need anything. Very fast response.
The apartment has comfortable seating and a very comfortable bed. It's a quiet area and I had no problem sleeping in the afternoon or night. It has high airy ceilings and the architecture is impressive. The apartment will be a memorable and celebrated part of your visit. It's a real value for money and a cafe, couple of restaurants and a small store are within a few meters.
I am planning to come back to next year and very much hope to stay with Joseph if the apartment is available.
My stay in the Artists Flat was perfect. The location is in the heart of historic Trastevere as promised but the apartment is very quiet at night. I was met at the door upon arrival and Joseph replied immediately to questions. The flat was just as I expected based on the photos. The bed was very comfortable. Joseph added holiday decorations which was a nice treat as my stay extended across Christmas and New Years. I would stay there again and have already recommended it to a friend who plans to visit Rome in March.
We couldn't be happier with Joseph's apartment! Communication and booking with him is absolutely painless, he is a wonderful and helpful host, and the apartment itself is just amazing! It's in the best part of town (in our opinion), steps away from incredible restaurants, and it's spacious and beautiful. I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting Rome. Loved it! A lot.
L'appartement est grand ET PLEIN DE CHARME. Typique du Trastevere. Beaucoup d'espaces de rangement. Les sanitaires sont neufs. Enfin, Joseph est tout aussi sympathique que son appartement.
We had a great time. So glad we went with this side of the river. You're a short walk across the river to the big sites, but you get to go home to a quieter, less crowded and touristy place.
Joseph was wonderful. He could be a tour guide--lots of great little tips and tricks for things to see in the immediate area and beyond. The apartment was clean, in a great location and stocked with all the little things you tend to need when traveling. There's a little grocery, coffee shop, upscale restaurant, tobacco shop, and old fashioned cookie shop all within one block which was just fantastic. There's even a pet supply store.
Tip: There is a great restaurant right across the street from the apartment (Le Mani in Pasta). Go, but be sure to have a reservation. The waiters are often standing around outside during the day and you can ask them for a booking. You might have to be persistent--they are very popular. No can mean yes if you ask nicely more than once.
Joseph has a great place. Just where we wanted to be. We could walk everywhere. With small kids we need to be close to places. A food market next door that wakes you up with the scent of fresh bread. Restaurants along the narrow streets. The children even went to bed listening to violins a couple of nights. So close to the main attractions. Joseph was great on providing us with info on how to find the apartment and gave us great suggestions on things to do. We walked around alot of the surrounding neighborhood and everything is great and I am so happy with the location of this place. I would definitely stay here again.
The apartment was the perfect place for 4 days in Rome. When we arrived, Joseph was waiting in the street at the front door and showed us the apartment. It was very clean and very spacious. In addition to this, it is in a great part of the city center. We went to some excellent restaurants in Trastevere. We didn't cook in the apartment, but the kitchen seemed well equipped.
Joseph was very responsive when we had questions concerning the apartment. I would definitely recommend a stay here.
Joseph is a wonderful host. He was extremely responsive from my initial communication. He met us at the building and filled us in on all the logistics of the apartment and the area in which we stayed. The apartment is in a perfect location. We were within walking distance of everything. I am a New York gal so 30 – 40 minute walks are nothing for me and that is about the farthest to any of our destinations we had to trek; most were 10 – 20 minutes.
The apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated. There is A/C in the bedroom if you need it. Joseph was responsive to our needs. We did not realize that there was an extra charge for linens for the sleeper sofa but he supplied them to us anyway. Please let him know this before booking. He was absolutely gracious and had I known this – maybe it is in the details and I overlooked it (which is totally possible) – I would have let him know prior to our arrival.
When I am in Rome again, I will not hesitate to reach out to Joseph. Thank you, Joseph, for being such a great host!
