  • Kai was really helpful in directing us how to get to the condo although he was not able to be there during our stay. It has a bit of a bachelor pad feel but you get your own bathroom without having to share it with the other guys. Just a Couple of things I would recommend for Kai to make it even better...I wish it would have been a little cleaner. Nothing big just vacuumed or sprayed down the shower or cleaned the mirror in the bathroom. And I wish the cable had worked on a consistent basis. But The location was fantastic! 5 minute walk from the magnificent mile and a little further for other tourist attractions. Always felt safe whether it was during the day or night. Found a GREAT little restaurant called 3rd coast. I recommend it!! Try the French toast with Brie and bananas- really awesome! Overall I rate the experience a B.

  • This was an excellent place to stay! The master bedroom had a private bathroom, so it was very much like staying in a hotel room. :) The apartment is located very close to some of the best dining and shopping places in Chicago. I highly recommend the place, and would probably stay there again the next time I have to travel to Chicago!

  • I couldn't have found a more convenient and beautiful place to stay during my visit to Chicago. Just as in the other reviews, the apartment is well located; walking distance to the lake and old town, a block or 2 from the subway. Shopping and restaurants are just around the corner. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and clean. Kai was quick to respond to my inquiries and accommodating to my requests. His apartmentmate, James, is (email hidden)- very gracious and personable.

About
I just graduated from UPenn and moved to Chicago in July. I grew up on the other side of the lake in Michigan, so I'm very excited to be back in the Midwest. After living in Dallas, San Francisco, and Philadelphia, I have to say Chicago is by far my favorite. I've interned in the city for the last two years, and this place is a real treat - especially in the summer. I love football, tech, beaches, traveling, and meeting new people.
