Interaction with Guests
Depending on the period you will visit you might meet one of us or all of us! We love spending time with our guests! We will always be available for tips and suggestions about the amazing city of Athens!
The flat is ideally located in Kipseli which used to be one of the most aristocratic areas of Athens and while it has lost the glory of the past it is still a representative of the authentic Athens style. A walk through Kypseli will bring you face to face with the collision of the old and new Athens. Here you can really experience the day-to-day life of Athens. The area is a must visit for those who want to discover real Athens and experience the most crowded area of Europe! Feel like a real local...
Nearby...there is a large fresh fruit and vegetable street market every Tuesday, also there are many supermarkets, bakeries, 5-screen cinema and a large pedestrian area with nice cafes, traditional restaurants and amazing pastry shops!

Dear Katerina , I had the best Citytrip ever, thank you so much for everything!! ve done lot more for me than I have expected and I feel very thankfull for all the little details you thougt about. Everything was perfectly clean, you have a modern and cosy flat, nice balkony with a lot of plants, Fruits, bustickets, the Lift from Airport. Thanks for your Yoga lesson I still cant stop laughing when I look at our Picture :-D
Katerina was the most amazing host we could ask for!
Facilities wise, the house was warm and welcoming and as described in a very convenient area of town and the room was large and had an extremely comfortable bed.
However the highlight of our stay in Athens was definatly the hospitality shown by Katerina and her family (we even got the chance to meet her mum, amazing cook!).Katerina was always ready to help whether it was showing us around Athens, giving us travel advise or making us feel at home!
Was fantastic to stay with someone that I would certainly consider a friend after only 4 days. Could not recommend any more and cant wait to visit her and her family again!
The best experience ever from airbnb. Katerina is the best host and helped a lot to make you feel like home. The decoration and cleanliness are fantastic. And Katerina shared cakes and snacks she made with us which is awesome. Really appreciated to the whole journey.
superbe expérience avec Katerina qui est vraiment très accueillante et sympas,la chambre et l'appartement est magnifique très agréable et le quartier sympas, et le petit déjeuné digne d'un grand hôtel merci encore pour cette expérience fort sympatique.
Katerina was an awesome host throughout my stay! The location was close to the local bus stop which brings you to the metro directly. It was also really easy to travel in Athens from her place.
The house was nicely decorated and the room was large and spacious with an ensuite toilet and balcony. Overall, my stay in Athens in Katerina's place was excellent and would definitely recommend it!
I just enjoyed a 4-night stay in Athens, and Katerina provided kind hospitality second to none. The modern flat is spacious, exactly as described, and located in a residential area enough off the tourist track to provide a true glimpse of contemporary Greece. Local buses run nearby, though I walked daily about 20 minutes past the Museum of Archeology and on to central Athens, the Plaka, and the Acropolis.
The pillow-top bed provided the best sleep I've found for thus price. The bedroom has a west-facing balcony, great for relaxing after a busy day. Katerina shares her fridge, kitchen, and living room, as well as good conversation and local tips. The ensuite bath has a nice shower, with a nice variety of shampoo and shower gels. There's a desk to sit and reflect.
The pedestrian avenue just a short block away provides two excellent food markets, bakeries, and local restaurants with great food below tourist prices. Both Souvlaki shops nearby were tasty; the locally-owned one was better than the chain shop, and they appreciated the foreigner"s visit more. If there on a Tuesday, the fruit/vegetable market one block east if Katerina"s flat is delightful, with direct-from-the-growers prices on olives, spices, oranges, eggplant, etc: all colorfully displayed. 25 Euro cents bought a bagful of fresh red and green peppers, and the same for for blood oranges.
I heartily recommend this AirBNB location. Katerina had her signature chocolate cake freshly made at my arrival, which I found excellent with Greek yogurt. You won't find a more honest and sincere host for your visit to Athens.

Nice pedestrian street full of cafes, bars, restaurants and few stores. Ideal for an afternoon coffee or beer (the Greek way).
Open everyday (even Sundays and holidays) until late! It's very close, a bit small, but you can find most of the things you need for a meal or other groceries.
Need some croissant, cookies or Greek pies for breakfast, or some fresh bread? Here is the place.

Here you can find fresh fruit, vegetables and fish from all over Greece. This street market is the way Greeks buy their fruits and not a touristic market!

Our favorite suvlaki place! You can have a suvlaki to take away or sit there and enjoy a nice pitta-gyros, suvlaki, greek salad, tzatziki and everything else you wish.
