Rosa's room was lovely. Bright and airy and warm. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. We needed to ask Rosa a couple of things and she was immediately available and helpful. Would definately go back and stay there again.
Rosa was an excellent hostess and very accessible. The room description exactly as pictured and better. The bed very comfortable, the room spacious, clean and quiet, beautiful bathroom. Location excellent lots of restaurants, shops, metro stop and Prospect Park all walking distance and around the corner from our son's place. Highly recommend. We will stay here again.
Perfekte Lage mitten in Brooklyn. Sorgfältig eingerichtetes und gut ausgestattetes Zimmer mit eigenem Bad und separatem Zugang. Rosa war immer für uns ansprechbar. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen!
Rosa was a delightful host. The spacious bedroom was lovely and in impeccable condition with a spotless spa-like bathroom. There is no kitchen or eating area, but with all the spectacular restaurants in the area, you'll hardly miss it. The bed was incredibly comfortable - I wish I had had more time for lounging, because it's one of those beds that invites you to sleep in and spend a decadent morning watching TV or reading a good book. I appreciated the private entrance so as not to disturb Rosa with my late-night coming and going. Rosa very kindly allowed me to leave my baggage in the room past checkout when my plans fell through due to a delayed reserved vehicle. I highly recommend Rosa's room if you're looking for a strategic location from which to explore one Brooklyn's best neighborhoods.
A wonderful experience! We absolutely loved Rosa's place. Everything was perfect. Rosa's place is located in a safe, nice and cozy neighborhood, where you can find nice small vintage shops, restaurants, cafes and much more. Transport was very close and it was easy to get around.
The room and the bathroom were both excellent, they were clean and we had all the things we needed.
Rosa was a wonderful host! Discreet and very helpful. Staying at Rosa's place really made my and my friend's first stay in NY a great and forgettable experience.
Rosa was very kind and polite during all the stay. She was always available for questions. The room with bed ( for 2) is very comfortable and the room is decorated very nice and is clean. After arrival you will receive your keys and you will have your private room with bath and fridge. You will find a coffee mashine and a few closets. The Subway is aprox 10 minutes away and goes directly to Manhattan. We enjoyed the time very much and we would always recommend it.
Catherine, you should have told me about the toilet, after you left I did notice and took care of it in 5 seconds,
I do like the gift and have placed it in my china closet right upfront, it will remind me of you, Thank you. Give my love to your mother, and I hope to see you again, next time you have to go shopping.
Wishing you the very best.
Rosa was wonderful! She was incredibly flexible with my arrival time and very respectful of my privacy --reachable always through text message and phone. Her room is impeccably clean and the bed is one of those beds that you don't even move around in, it's so comfortable. Fancy cotton sheets! The bathroom was lovely, she supplied shampoo, soap and air conditioner. The ceilings are high, the room very spacious, huge tv, the floor is wood, there is a clean desk to work on. A fridge, good sized closet, coffee-maker. The working AC was such a treat and to top it all of you have a beautiful view (3 windows) of trees and backyards that bring in the morning sun! Peaceful. As soon as you walk down what feels like your own private staircase and exit, you find an organic produce store, key foods, Jack Rabbit, cute stores, many options to have coffee and great food. I enjoyed walking to prospect park (in a sec) and walking amongst the block's school kids. Many different subway lines are a short walk away. I would feel lucky to find availability again. I only wish I could have stayed longer but the room was logically booked when I tried to make my stay longer.
Born in Italy, I'm a self employed hair stylist, I own a brownstone in park slope, have been in the neighborhood thirty years, looking to retire within the next couple of years, that's one of the reasons I want to join this community. I live in the same brownstone and have a hair studio on the second floor. I like to travel, love to cook, and dance.
