The space
NO CLEANING FEES!

The Cottage features an open floor plan with plenty of natural light and space to gather. Prepare meals in the fully equipped galley kitchen, and enjoy your food on the deck overlooking the gardens, orchard, and pond. You'll find a cozy living area perfect for reading, relaxing, or enjoying conversation after a day of exploring.

There are two comfortable bedrooms: one with a queen bed and the other with a full-sized bed, plus two full bathrooms—ideal for couples, families, or friends traveling together. Fresh linens, soft towels, and basic toiletries are provided for your comfort.

Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate our close proximity to popular hiking trails at Pilot Mountain and Hanging Rock, as well as kayaking adventures on the nearby Dan River and Yadkin River. History buffs and curious visitors will also enjoy exploring nearby attractions, including the Historical Horne Creek Farm and charming Mount Airy, famously known as the birthplace of Andy Griffith. For those seeking a bit more excitement, the bustling city of Winston Salem offers vibrant culture, shopping, and dining experiences just a short drive away.

Guest access
In addition to the cottage and attached outdoor spaces, guests have access to all outdoor spaces on the farm, including the orchards and gardens, a spring-fed pond in the lower pasture, and friendly chickens on the hillside. Depending on the season, you may spot blooming herbs and ripening fruit in the gardens while listening to beautiful nature sounds from owls, frogs, and birds.

We ask that you please refrain from entering the barn, the garage, and the space around the owners' personal home located down the hill.

Please note that the fencing around the chickens is electrified, so we ask that you do not touch the fencing or try to go inside their paddock. You're welcome to view the chickens, but please do not feed them.

We have two friendly cats named Bagheera and Willow. While they are friendly and cuddly, they are outdoor cats, so please do not let them into the cottage, and please do not feed them.
