I am usually using this ad in case of others ads doesn t work for any reason. The ad can cover any of the flats I am renting in Temple Bar
All flats are modern & nice two bedroom apartement fully furnished, extremely well-located in the heart the main pedestrian area of Dublin city center : Temple Bar, few minutes walk from all the main interest of the city
The whole apartment can easly accomodate 5 persons...and up to 6 persons (7/8but it ll be real packed )
You have only one bathroom with toilet
I can arrange an extra bedroom in the building or even a Hostel or hotel around the corner & you can use the apartment as meeting point for breakfast & meal ;-)
First bedroom : double bed ( 4'6 or 160cm) & single bed as bunk bed who can accomodate up to 3/4 persons
One bedroom with a small double bed ( 4' or 140 cm) & a single folding bed on the floor if necessary who can accomodate 2/3 persons
You have a sofabed (small double matress ( 4' or 140 cm) in the living room who can accomodate 2 extra persons. You have to consider the living room is noiser than the bedroom as it is on the street
For bigger group, you can book an other bedroom or flat in the same building OR I can book a bedroom in the cheap hostel or in a *** Hotel, both are around the corner
You have the living room kitchen where you can use all basic stuff to cook breakfast & meals (oil, vinegar, salt, coffee, tea ...)
Sheets, towel (shower gel shampoo ...) included
Check in & check out as usually around lunch time, but it can be flexible, at least for the luggages
I provide advises to make sure you have a proper Dublin experience, & can advise you for a trip in the country ( car rental for the best value, itineray, place to stay...)
READ CAREFULLY please : At night, you have to consider it is noisy as you are on one of the main pedestrian street of Dublin above a pub. The bedroom are not on the street but above the beer garden of the pub Temple bar. It is noisy at night (person talking) but It is totally quiet AFTER the pub is closed. It doesn t suit if you want to go to bed early...but Read my review or message me for details .... ;-)
You are more than welcome to ask any questions there ;-)
The reservation was canceled 50 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Very bare bones. Perfect for a college student who is used to a hostel type environment.
The location is great; however it is not above the Temple bar. It is a few blocks away.
The apartment itself is fine if you are looking for the very basics. It is not dirty but it is somewhat grungy.
As far as the decor; let's put it this way, if you were to take five euros to the swap meet/Goodwill store you could bob probably buy nicer furnishings.
Each guest got a very small bath towel. There was not one hand towel or paper towel in the apartment.
Nicholas, the host, is a nice guy; however, when our power went out and we didn't have hot water or electricity, he let me know what an inconvenience it was for him to come fix the situation. in the end, he did have the problem rectified.
All in all, not a great experience.
The flat was walking distance to everything. And the flat was a great size for my group of 6. Note, the entrance to the flat was not apparent and was also the entrance to tattoo & massage parlors. And the flat was a walk up.
I loved this flat for the very first moment. Not my first time in Dublin i knew where was this spot, and it was really great to be in a historic place as this, up from temple bar with some views nobody will see ever :) You have live music for free as well :) Appartment were big and with anything u may need, towels, plugs, shampoo, gel, EVERYTHING. Of course u have to know where you go into, as it can be little bit noisy for some people, but for me not at all, i enjoyed there and would come back to same place whenever i return to the city.
Location, location, location..... This is the perfect spot if you plan to come to Dublin with a few friends. You look out your window to the main strip, one of the room windows literally looks down into the courtyard of The Temple Bar. I walked everywhere I wanted to go in Dublin for the most part. The place was fairly clean, yes it's noises but you are located above the world famous Temple Bar. I'd stay again, thanks for letting me experience St Patricks Day from your apartment.
Overall this was a great place to stay right over Temple Bar. This is a smallish two bedroom apartment that is set up for the Dublin partier and it serves its purpose well. We really enjoyed our stay, but were ready to move on after two nights as it is not the best place for R&R.
Pros: Fantastic location, housekeeper makes check in easy, effectively three separate beds (one bunk) in two rooms, nice view, clean sheets and towels.
Cons: Relatively tight space for a two bedroom, apartment is a little grungy (carpet, couch, bathroom) and could use a facelift.
You cannot be closer to the action in Dublin.
