We will be more than happy to meet you at the airport and make sure you arrive at the apartment safe and sound. Please ask about this option when booking.
The tenants who live there are your average blue-collar Saigonese, and there is one expat family who lives on the same floor, though I believe they utilize the wonderful location of their apartment only on weekends. The historically important building, while very safe and without incident (according to all the residents and all my guests have stayed) has interior halls which is very clean and taken care of our neighbors.
The location of this apartment cant be beat. When you check in, drop your bags and walk the entire city center without ever taking a taxi or bus until you depart.

Easy access to public transportation, nice neighborhood and well maintained facility. If you need a home away from home, do consider this place. Highly recommended.
Clean and cozy room in great location of HCMC. The flooring tiles look very nostalgic. The asset manager is very helpful and cute ^__^
Vu the manager was superb, really just a nice guy with a great sense of wanting to help out the visitor. I really appreciated his assistance on my arrival and with the various questions I had while staying there. And the little book on the coffee table of nice restaurants and interesting things to see while in Saigon was an excellent resource!!!
The property itself is very aptly described. It really is a very charming little apartment in a great location. The inside is quiet and welcoming, and they include plenty of drinking water with the unit.
The shower/water pressure worked well for me during my whole visit provided the instructions on use are followed, and the air conditioning was more than strong enough The washing machine worked effectively. Both toilets worked excellent.
There is a clothesline on the front porch which gets afternoon sun that works well for drying clothes.
And the little ice cream shop (Moon & Sun) downstairs in the alley really does have excellent homemade ice cream (and even flan!) and adds to the charm.
Overall really excellent place and I hope to stay there again sometime.
First of all, I would like to thank Vu for being so helpful and polite and Tram for answering all our questions.
Regarding the apartment: I think that it is a good place for a short stay because the majority of the attractions are quite close to the apartment. But it is not very convenient if you want to stay for more than one week. For example, the kitchen is really well equipped but it is too small and you cannot cook normally. The sound isolation also leaves much to be desired. It is a little bit better in the bedroom than in the living room where you literally have a feeling that you are in the street next to the nearest bar but you can still hear what is going on in the apartment above, for example, a baby crying or a dog barking loudly late at night. And one more thing: I would not recommend this apartment for people who work online (as we do). The description says the apartment has a high speed connection and Tram told us that the download speed was around 12 Mbps before we arrived but when we came it turned out to be 3 Mbps only. Tram changed the package as we had agreed and in the end the download speed was 8 Mbps. Unfortunately, it was not stable at all and went down every evening. So, it was really hard for me and my husband to work.
Our host Vu was extremely helpful and made our first visit to Vietnam a very positive experience. He was everything we'd read about in the reviews. He offered any help we needed during our stay and organized our taxi back to the airport. The apt. was extremely clean and efficient and in a safe neighborhood. It is ideal for travelers who are looking for a more authentic experience. All in all we were very happy with the experience and happy to be within walking distance of many of the major sights.
Thank you Vu!
Tram and Vu are very friendly and responsive throughout. Nice apartment in a residential building on a busy shopping street, walking distance to historical sights.
Tram's apartment was clean, in a great location and super nice. The hosts were very accommodating to my flight schedule, even letting me hang out until my evening flight so I wouldn't have to carry my bags around all day. Highly recommended.
