In case you bring your car: there is free parking across the street.
The apartment is only for rent for a max. of 2 persons.
Everything went very smooth. Pauline answered my e-mails quickly, the apartment is very descent en cozy in a nice building on an excellent location. The housekeeper handed the keys to me when I entered the building. I was able to park my car on the other side of the street without additional costs. Highly recommended.
Nice classic building with lots of original details. Very Nice small apartment which is clean and has everything you need.
Bed is special, as it is in a sort of cove, which makes it indeed cozy. Wifi is a little shaky.
small but nice appartment with good busconnections to the citycentre and beach up till midnight. Ideal for a weekendtrip to Dicover Den Haag and Scheveningen. Pauline is very relaxed and free parking is a plus!
For 3 nights me and my girlfriend booked this very cosy appartment. It is very easy to reach by public transport/bike/car. We took our bikes and we got around Scheveningen/The Hague very easily. It is about a 10/15 minute ride from The Hague train station and also about 15 minutes to the sea. For whom is travelling from outside the Netherlands: you can buy a subscription for bikes at the train station. It is called an OV-fiets (P.T-bike). It costs 10€ + €3 for each day. The bikes are very convenient and cheap.
There is a small shopping mall about 5 minutes from the place, but also some some restaurants/take away.
The aparment is very small but extremely cosy. It really feels you are on a holiday. It has all the equipment you need but it is also very well decorated and maintained.
We had magnificent weather and had breakfast/brunch/lunch/dinner outside. The view from the balcony is very nice too. We also slept in the bedstead, which was actually very comfortable.
For The Hague or Scheveningen: there is plenty to do. We had a free tour to the House of Representatives (Tweede Kamer)
Just call (phone number hidden) and make a reservation. It is about an hour and shows the history of the buildings and how all the meetings are archived.
Secondly, we went to the Humanity House. This is a museum about the life of refugees and very interesting. It's located at the Prinsegracht 8.
Of course, we went to the beach of Scheveningen too! It can rather cold depending on the wind, so bring a jacket. Another place to go to could be the Pier or Sea life.
We really had a great time and a wonderful stay in this apartment.
A very sunny and clean apartment, quiet with great location. Couldn't meet Pauline but she arranged that we could pick up the key to someone in the building.
The flat has an easy access as there is an elevator and station of bus just outside the building.
The journey was so great. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning sun and listening to the doves. Pauline is a very good host trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible in this really clean flat. The house itself is a big monument of future thinking in the 1930s.
You can reach the sea, the city centre or a supermarket in just few minutes by car.
Thinking of our little time there for just one weekend makes me wish to come back again for more days.
