The Space

This home is peaceful and on a quiet street, minutes to great trails for hiking, mt biking, running etc yet close to downtown. 12 minutes to nordic skiing and 25 mins to Mt Bachelor down hill ski resort. It is on 1/3 acre lot with orchard, firepit all set up with tools for roasting your marshmallows. A beautiful yurt sits on it's own deck with boardwalks in the back yard, equipped with wifi, gas heat, electricity, a stereo system and room to sleep or do yoga or just chill out with friends. The open floor plan for the living/dining/kitchen area boasts easy indoor outdoor flow onto front and back decks with outdoor dining option. The dining area can easily seat 8 people and the kitchen is well equipped for those fabulous meals you want to enjoy with friends and family. The 6 person hot tub is a great way to enjoy the night skies of Central Oregon and listen to the coyotes....

  • Collete was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The house was really nice, actually it was larger than we expected. The neighborhood was very quiet and kid friendly. Perfect distance from town.

  • My new wife and I spent the first night of our honeymoon at Colette's home in Bend! We had an amazing stay and the house was comfortable, spotless and super charming. We had our dog, moose with us too and she overwhelmingly approved!

We spent our afternoons floating the river and exploring the adorable town of bend and our evenings being cozy at home.

    Thanks, Colette!

  • This is a marvelous home up on a hill in a quieter Bend neighborhood. The house itself has lots of natural wood and light. The kitchen is very well equipped for a vacation rental with pots and pans you can actually use - not the usual ancient teflon. There are two decks with comfy seating off of the living room and dining areas. The best aspect of this house is the backyard. It's huge and wonderfully landscaped with a big fire pit, a garden with fresh veggies growing, and a yurt. The yurt has lovely hardwood floors and is great for yoga. It comes equipped with some extra mats if you need one. Make sure you ask the owner for instructions for starting up the propane heater if you are using the yurt in wintertime.

This is basically a one bedroom house with a master bedroom and additional sleeping options on a living room convertible sofa and a futon platform style bed in the yurt. I ended up sleeping on the living room sofa because the master bed was too soft for me. Not soft as in worn out - it was in fine condition - just on the softer side.

Downtown Bend with all of its amenities is only a 10minute drive. But the Deschutes National Forest is practically at your back door. Literally a few minutes down the highway and you are in wilderness with access to hiking, boating, skiing, volcanic lakes and total serenity.
