About This Listing
We offer four small flats in a renovated ancient town house, for singles, couples, or a family with a child.
This flat looks out of the old medieval wall. As Talarn is a walled town sited defensively on a rock controlling the valley below, the wall has wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and mountains in the distance. It is a studio with a large space including the kitchen, dining space, living area, double bed (with the possibility of adding an extra bed), a clothes cupboard. It also contains a complete bathroom with a washing machine. For 4 days stays or longer we offer free linen and towels (see house rules). It has a large terrace with incredible views. Renovated wooden beams grace the ceilings.
All the flats have parquet flooring. The refurbishment was finished in 2013 so all the electric installations are current, including the inter-phone, and TV and radio aerials.
Nearby there are two excellent restaurants and bars offering traditional gastronomy.
Talarn, an old walled town, is situated in the heart of Pallars Jussà region, where one can partake of multiple outdoor activities. For those who like sport there are hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, kayak, climbing, speleology, rafting, fishing, hunting and picking mushrooms. For the nature watchers there are the birds, chamois, roe deer, and stags with their characteristic mating bellows. A drive of five minutes gets you to the Sant Antoni reservoir where swimming and numerous aquatic activities are available, and the Sant Maurici i Aigüestortes National Park is just one hour away.
The region also offers many cultural and leisure activities. Wine can be tasted when visiting the prestigious vineyards of Castell d'Encús, García Muret, Sauvella and Vilacorona. The castles of Mur, Llorda, Orcau and St. Gervàs, as well as the romanic churches of Llimiana, Abella de la Conca, and Covet are well worth a visit as is the classified cultural patrimony of Boí Taüll. Take a train ride that follows the course of the Noguera river and lakes. Don't miss the guided tour of Salàs de Pallars and its ancient shops, including a grocer’s, a barber and a chemist. Look through the very modern telescope at the observatory in the Montsec. There is much more to do!
Smoking is only allowed in terraces and balconies.
No pets allowed.

Staying at Bejami's apartment has been great. The town of Talarn is very pretty and the views from the balcony are incredible. Moreover, the apartment itself brilliant and you will have everything you need close at hand. Benjami and his family are a very hospitable bunch, with lots of knowlegde about the town and surrounding country and Benjami can provide you with lots of suggestions about what to do. All in all very much recommendable.
Fantastic studio apartment - very clean and comfortable, well-equipped and boasting stunning views. Benjami was incredibly friendly and helped show us some good walking routes in the areas. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Genial loft situada a segundos de tremp y a minutos de una genial naturaleza. El loft es espacioso, con buenas vistas y no encontramos nada en falta. Benjami nos atendió perfectamente y muy rapidamente.
This is highly recommended guesthouse.
This small ancient town is located on a small hill, View nice and perfect for a walk every morning.
This room is equipped with clean and sufficient equipment, and the view from the room is the best.
The host family was very helpful and friendly. We invited many times to dinner and parties, had a very fun time.
We want to say thank you to the host family.
My husband and I had a lovely 1 week stay at Benjami and Elena's flat. We were met promptly by Benjami, and he had also sent instructions of what we should do if they were not there [they were leaving that afternoon for Barcelona]. Benjami and Elena were very friendly throughout our stay and gave us lots of great local knowledge about Catalonia. The flat is a perfect size for 2 people (4 could work if you were really good friends!), with everything you might need for cooking, and has a great view of the surrounding countryside. The town of Talarn is very small and pretty, which we liked, but Tremp is only a 3 minute drive and you can get groceries and find more eating options there. We were on a climbing trip, and there are numerous climbing areas within a 15 minute to 1 hour drive, depending on what you are looking for - a car is definitely required. Overall we had a great stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
This apartment was great! We have not had a lot of experience with Airbnb, and this was a great start. It was a studio apartment with a very nice balcony looking over the valley into the sunset.
Benjamí is very nice, and personally came to show us everything. When a lamp did not work, he promptly fixed it. That gave us a good feeling: no problem something is not working properly, as long as the host is willing to fix it with no hassle.
The area is great! If you like hiking, we can vouch for it. Bearded vultures are in many places, even soaring within 30 feet over your head when you are on a mountain ridge.
If you like figs and other wild fruit, you can pick them off of trees in many places.
The photo's Benjamí posted here are no lie. Within an hour drive (in many directions) you have more than enough to see to fill a week and more.
Tremp (the district's capital) is reached within 5 minutes by car, and has multiple supermarkets and a nice centre to get something to eat.
Again, we really enjoyed our stay!

About the Host, Benjamí
