Very comfortable, clean and spacious! As everyone has mention, breakfast each day is lovely! The shower is hot and larger than the norm. Roman was very helpful and communicative. He helped navigate me, call early am taxi, stored my bag. Keep in mind for any future travelers who have not spent much time out of their home country... street noise of cars, dogs and even fire works is very typical. If you are not accustom, bring earplugs. Will certainly stay here again!

Maison Fortaleza held our bags while we went on our Inca Trail Trek - came back for one night before leaving Peru. Great time! (See prior review for more details about how wonderful this airbnb is)

The location is a close walking distance to local ruins (Saqsaywaman) and to Plaza de Armas. Breakfast was delicious, the room was clean, showers were hot, and the bed was comfortable! Jean and Itala's son, Roman, and family took care of us. Roman was incredibly helpful when the airline lost our luggage for a few days. If you are a light sleeper be sure to bring ear plugs no matter where you stay in Cuzco - the street dogs like to have conversations at night. This was a wonderful and affordable place to stay with great people.

Wonderful place near the historical centre - very clean, great shower, and superb breakfast (best we had in the Sacred Valley). Roman, Jean & Itala's son, took excellent care of us.

My name is Itala, I'm a peruvian, originally from Cusco and I've been working as a tour guide for 25 years. With my swiss husband Jean we make a multicultural couple and we have 2 children.
We love to welcome our friends in our house so our Airbnb guests will be treated like friends and we also like them to feel at home. We can also advise them about what to do in the Cusco region (arts, archeology, restaurants, music, local market). We speak spanish, french and english...
