The apartment was lovely, and the neighborhood is great. Casper's apartment is a good option if you want to escape the tourist area but still want to have easy access of basically all Copenhagen.
Although we didn't get to meet him personally, Casper made us feel right at home in his apartment with some welcome beers and cookies. The place is excellently located and our two-night stay was a breeze. Everything was great - if you are looking for a relaxed home base to explore Copenhagen from while not being slammed in the middle of the tourist crush, this is it.
Our stay at Casper's was a fantastic experience and we highly recommend. The special touches of biscuits and beer on arrival was very much appreciated. All the pamphlets and recommendations left were very helpful at as well. The apartment is in a lovely safe area and added to our amazing weekend in Copenhagen. Very clean and tidy and the kitchen is great. We mostly walked, but public transport is very close if required. We definitely recommend Casper's place if you're going to Copenhagen! Thanks Casper and Ida for a great stay :)
Just like the picture and the kitchen is very very nice. 2 bottles of beer some sweets and a little guide to how to get around, where the supermarkets are etc was on the table when we arrived. Also there was various tourist leaflets for tours etc and a bus / train guide. Theres a few late shops for grabbing a late night snack just round the corner too.
The appartment is located in a nice part of town opposite a lovely park. Walk through the park and the carlsberg brewery is on the other side (30minutes walk)
The bus runs every 10 minutes all night from just outside to the centre of town with a journey time of less than 10 minutes (£2.50 ish for an all day travelcard) The appartment had WIFI and a hair dryer aswell which was a bonus and there is 3 supermarkets within a few minutes walk.
Everyone speaks perfect english so copenhagen is very easy to get around and the buses trains are great.
The only thing i would say is even though its very close to the train station (500 metres) have a look on google street view to see your route to the appartment when you first arrive as being an unfamilier place its not immediately obvious. I had printed a map but the "road" google told me to take was actually a path through a park and i got a little lost (although we just asked someone and they pointed us the right way)
overall I'd say very good value for money and if we come again we will have no hessitaion in staying at caspers a second time.
Overall very positive experience. Casper wasn't able to greet us personally, but left a table with instructions, guides, toiletries, and some snacks. The bed was comfy and the location was good. Felt quite at home!
Absolutely loved this gorgeous and homely apartment. We felt right at home as soon as we set through the door and Casper and Ida had kindly left everything we needed in terms of maps, instructions and even some food supplies. Fantastic neighbourhood.
We had an amazing weekend we only wanted to relax and it was the perfect place to do it !
The arriving was so nice ! We had all the informations needed on the kitchen's table
Moreover we have some beers and candy which made us directly in very nice mood even though It was late in the evening and we were tired
About the Host, Casper
Soccer, travelling, reading and music are things that I appreciate in life and which I couldn't live without. Favourite travelling destination is without doubt New Zealand, although Rarotonga, Cook Islands, comes close. Fiorentina is my favourite team in soccer, while Italian food is my favourite cuisine.
There is no difference between having me as a guest and having me as a host. I apreciate carefulness, cleanliness and responsability of other people's belongings.
