As a large family we booked the entire house for 2 nights and check out time was 12 noon. We were disturbed by new guests at 9am!! The whole house and grounds need a lot of TLC and the furniture was very tired. Amenities did not met fully the listings description.

Fantastic place to stay. Bungalow exceeded our expectations. Michael is a very special and wonderful man who couldn't do more to ensure our stay was perfect. His advice to visit the Jim of the Mill pub for a traditional session was brilliant. None of my family of 14 wanted to leave! It is not to be missed. You'll need a car to get around and although there are plenty of grocery shops and a couple of nice pubs there is nothing else but wonderful walks to explore. The Devils Bit walk is worth the effort. If you need a place to stay in the area I would highly recommend Michael's bungalow.

We had a great stay over New Year's Eve at Michaels place. We were a large group of 16 people and the place was perfectly fitting. Michael is a very kind and accommodating host.

We enjoyed our stay at fairy fort farm, especially meeting the animals (note this is between around 10am and 5pm). Good location for driving to Cahir and Cashel. The house was clean and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped with pots, plates etc. However, there was no washing machine as advertised - instead Michael advised going to the local laundrette. There is a Chinese and off licence in the village and we had a great meal in nearby Thurles.

Michael's son greeted us. The house was neat but a bit hard to find as the signage described in the airbnb directions did not exist or was very hard to see. The farm with animals is up the road a ways verses with the house. our kids enjoyed seeing the animals but the new dog that growled at the children and I detered us from visiting the animals more frequently.

Michael was so helpful, friendly and welcoming, and Fairy Fort Farm was such a beautiful spot! our group of 30+ stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful time - the farm is a very short walk from Borrisoleigh and a short drive to larger towns such as Thurles and Nenagh which makes it an ideal base to explore Tipperary. The farm itself was gorgeous and had absolutely loads to do, from feeding the farmyard animals to an evening campfire. Would 100% recommend Fairy Fort Farm for groups of all sizes and ages!

Great "little" secluded cottage - we all loved it. Michael was very friendly and helpful, the place was exactly as we expected it!
