Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Either for a weekend escape or hunting in the "Golden triangle" for whitetail deer, this log cabin has it all. A rustic, charming structure, offering a cozy but spacious retreat.

The space
The cabin has an on site equipment room. Store your hunting gear in a scent free area just next door to the cabin.

No smoking allowed in the cabin. If you smoke or vape, please do so outside and away from the doors. Failure to follow these rules can result in additional charges.

Guest access
You are free to use the cabin, equipment room and fire pit at your leisure. Please stay in the yard around the cabin and don't venture into the woods.

You will get the access code to the door the day of check-in.

Other things to note
The cabin is accessible by a well-maintained blacktop road.

It is located 15 minutes from Mount Sterling and 20 minutes from Rushville. There are several restaurants and stores in Mt. Sterling. I provided a list and a map in the folder for added information.

We provide starters for soaps, laundry, and the dishwasher. If you have an extended stay, you may need to purchase additional amenities.

Thing to note!! This is an off-grid, rural cabin surrounded by forest. It is a native habitat for all manner of wildlife and insects. We conduct regular pest control and inspections, but can't guarantee you won't see an insect or two inside. We try and keep them out but they can be persistent 'buggers' 😊
