If you are seeking a country getaway, you will feel right at home in this charming studio. Private ground floor accommodation is 470 sq. ft. and hosts one to two guests. The front patio has a table and two chairs with a garden view. The kitchenette includes a bar sink, half refrigerator with an ample supply of small appliances (see photo captions for details). The two-car garage (shared with the upstairs accommodation) includes a washer & dryer and extra refrigerator/freezer.

While staying on the farm you are free to explore the gardens and visit alpacas along the pasture fences (see map in photo gallery).
Other things to note
Staying at Oakwood Gardens is ideal for adventurous guests who appreciate farm life, alpacas, and beautiful gardens.
If you are staying as part of a wedding party, please be aware that our Airbnbs are completely separate from our event contracts. Reach out to our sales manager to reserve any part of the property.
Our 70-acre working farm is home to alpacas. Please note that there may be occasional noise after 8:00 AM as staff clean pastures, use farm equipment, or tend to the animals.
The studio is self-check-in, self-service, and self-check-out. Breakfast is not provided. The bathroom sink in the studio only allows for cold water, however, there is hot water in the kitchen sink as well as the shower.
For your safety and convenience, we recommend arriving before dark, as country roads are not well-lit at night. We also suggest traveling by car and not by ride share services. Public transportation is unavailable in the countryside.
Please be aware that you may smell alpaca manure outside, as it is part of the farm environment.
This accommodation is designed for up to two adult guests. Additional guests are not permitted to sleep over, no exceptions.
If you plan to explore the farm or garden, please bring appropriate shoes for wet or muddy terrain.
Dogs are not allowed. Alpacas perceive unfamiliar dogs as predators, and their presence can cause distress to the animals.
For safety reasons, children under 13 years old are not permitted as guests. The farm features creeks, ponds, a koi pool, a reflection pool, river frontage, and livestock pastures, each presenting potential hazards. Additionally, the accommodation is not childproof, and we do not provide infant or toddler furnishings. The safety of our guests, especially children, is our top priority.
The farm is located near a small, privately owned airpark for light aircraft. You may occasionally hear planes overhead.
Different rules apply for reservations longer than one month. Your host will provide amenities for the first week, after which guests are responsible for their own supplies. Please inquire if you are booking for an extended stay.
Life happens so we recommend travel insurance in case you need to make last minute changes to your plans.
