Guest Access

Easy walk to downtown, river, galleries, restaurants. There is 10 Barrel micro brewery 5 min walk away. There is a fresh produce stand 5 min walk away that boasts local organic produce. Right next door to that is Primal Cuts a butcher that boasts all meat grass fed and locally raised. There is a growler shop inside the butcher shop that has a lot of great microbrews on tap to fill your growler with and take home to enjoy. Nancy P's bakery has a delightful selection of freshly baked goods and is a 10 minute walk and sits right next to Newport Market and across from Devores local food store for all your cooking needs. Brother Jon's restaurant is one of our favorites and is a 5 min walk on Galveston Ave.

  • Great place for a week's stay; nestled in among streets full of modest-sized restored homes and cottages the home is in a real residential neighborhood full of people who love Bend and it's athletic lifestyle. Small house but tasteful and livable for 4 or 5 friends. Perfect location for walking to the numerous westside neighborhood restaurants; and a 10 minute walk across the little-known footbridge to downtown on the eastside of the river. Most desirable location for a walking home in Bend. We never would have thought of coining the phrase 'a walking home' if we hadn't stayed there. Very cool.

  • We enjoyed our stay at Colette's cottage, and we will definitely be back! We were a family of four: my husband, mother-in-law, and son. We even brought our dog Mazzy along, and she loved the open backyard. The home had everything we needed - the kitchen was stocked better than our own at home! We went up to visit some family, and it was nice to have enough space for game nights in the "man-shed." It was a wonderful stay, and we can't wait to come back!

  • Our stay at the cottage was perfect, it had all the amenities we could have hoped for and you just can't beat the location. It was so nice being able to bring the whole family(dogs) with us on the trip, we appreciated that most! The backyard and deck space was amazing and so relaxing on our sunny days, we'll be back!

  • Colette's cottage is a great place to stay in Bend! Location location location - it's perfect!! Walking distance to downtown, the river, local food stores and more. The backyard gets lots of sunshine and the man-cave offers a ton of extra space if needed. I'd happily go back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable stay.

  • We had a lovely time in Bend and loved the home! We had access to everything we needed from groceries, to coffee, to great restaurants! We had a little trouble with the heater but Colette responded quickly and everything was fixed. The wood burning stove in the man shed was perfect for watching football all day on Sunday. Everything was really great and we really appreciated the open communication with Colette. We would definitely stay here again!
