We love staying in West Sedona and Heather and John made us feel most welcome. They were responsive, responsible and accessible to any of our needs; which were few. The house has a private back yard, a full well stocked kitchen and comfortable two bedrooms. Having a washing machine and dryer was a big plus as well. This is our third visit to Sedona and I absolutely would stay here again next time. Beautiful trails are right around the corner within a short walk, and delicious coffee is down the street. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, yet easily accessible to trails, restaurants and shopping. Though we only got to meet John, both he and Heather were warm and friendly. A delightful, magical visit and I already want to go back!
We had a terrific time here. Heather and John were both very welcoming. Heather answered questions about good spots to visit, and John was a fun neighbor/landlord with helpful tips about hiking, places to eat, and what critter pulled up some flowers I planted (javelinas!).
The place was as described: comfortable, tranquil, with everything we needed. We were happy to find two bikes available for our use. The coffee brewer was on its last legs but John replaced it for us. Occasionally there was a big fan running in a neighbor's yard, but we still enjoyed lying in the hammock outside. We loved being within walking distance of Sugarloaf Trailhead and took many beautiful hikes in the vicinity of Coffeepot Rock. We feel rejuvenated and happy to have stayed in such a lovely place.
We felt welcomed and @ home. Heather and John are both very responsive and nice, we were very comfortable here. The home is great, as described. Nice neighborhood, quiet.
Our stay was great. The house ready and inviting. It was clean and as described. We did some meals in, and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was great for us. There are hiking trails a block away, and the vistas morning and evening are incredible. You don't have to be an avid hiker- trails are ready made for any level and any distance, 20 minutes or several hours. And restaurants and retail are a quarter mile down the street. Other family members stayed several miles out in the canyons- they had neither the views nor the accessibility that Heather's location offers.
We used the wood fireplace one night and it was a real treat. $6 in wood from the grocery just down the road provided 2 hours of ambience!
In sum, the place provided everything as advertised and it met our needs perfectly. Heather was always responsive by text to answer any questions and was great to work with. This was our first foray into airbnb and we weren't disappointed!
