Great stay in Sedona. Your house worked out for us beautifully. Great location for everything we did while there.
We felt welcomed and @ home. Heather and John are both very responsive and nice, we were very comfortable here. The home is great, as described. Nice neighborhood, quiet.
Our stay was great. The house ready and inviting. It was clean and as described. We did some meals in, and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was great for us. There are hiking trails a block away, and the vistas morning and evening are incredible. You don't have to be an avid hiker- trails are ready made for any level and any distance, 20 minutes or several hours. And restaurants and retail are a quarter mile down the street. Other family members stayed several miles out in the canyons- they had neither the views nor the accessibility that Heather's location offers.
We used the wood fireplace one night and it was a real treat. $6 in wood from the grocery just down the road provided 2 hours of ambience!
In sum, the place provided everything as advertised and it met our needs perfectly. Heather was always responsive by text to answer any questions and was great to work with. This was our first foray into airbnb and we weren't disappointed!
What a great place! There is virtually everything you need for a getaway and so much room! no trouble finding the address. My kids romped in the snow every day in the cute yard! Even though it was quite chilly outside, we were very cozy inside. Flannel sheets! Nice quiet neighborhood. We hiked the Sugarloaf Trail and went to Airport Mesa which we enjoyed despite the mud! Ate at the Indian Palace--excellent buffet! I went to the Hot Yoga studio a little bit west on 89A, just the thing when it's 28 degrees.
We enjoyed the stay very much and even decorated a tree in the backyard for christmas! The fireplace was a nice bonus and the location is convenient. The house is comfortable, but we found it a bit dark (in the living room), and not super well insulated (realize it was December). Double bed was great, but the single mattress was a bit soft. Kitchen is great, plus washer and dryer a plus! John came over a few days after we got there and checked in which was nice.
Heather and John were FANTASTIC hosts! The house was perfect for our week in Sedona. Wonderful location, great access to trails, very comfortable and had everything we needed. They gave us some excellent local advice on where to go and what to do. We would stay with them again in a heartbeat! Thanks so much for being great hosts!
Fantastic spot to stay in Sedona! Not only was Heather helpful and quick to respond, but the two-bedroom duplex was quaint and comfortable. Close to everything you want to be near, well stocked with blankets, pillows, towels and kitchen wares, and spacious with a working fireplace and outdoor fire box, this cozy spot easily accommodated us and felt like home. Would absolutely stay here again.
