About this listing
Remodeled apartment in Palo Alto with private entranceAbout 2 blocks from Stanford campus, and in close proximity to Town & Country, California Ave, University Ave, and in between the University Ave and California Ave Caltrans stations. Newly painted and exceptionally clean.
Fully furnished bedroom with king sized bed and spacious closets. Roomy bathroom with shower and full vanity. "Trader Joe's" kitchenette with large microwave, coffee and tea pot with large selection of teas, toaster, and full sized refrigerator. Originally was used by Stanford medical students who never cooked as the cafeteria is open 24/7/365, so appliances for cooking take the place of a stove.
Outdoor chairs available for sitting on the patio enjoying the sun or gazing at the stars.
Interaction with Guests
Host lives next door and is available for questions and conversation during your stay.
The neighborhood is on the "fun" end of Stanford University because if you are visiting to see a sporting event you cannot get closer. Within a 5 minute walk you will be on the Rugby, Lacrosse and Soccer fields, a little further and you are on the Sunken Diamond for baseball or across for Women's Softball, next you will be near the football stadium, Angel Field and tennis courts and finally you will be close to Maples Pavilion where volleyball and basketball is played. All this right across the street from my suite.
Yes, there is both the Palo Alto free shuttle and Margaret shuttle that Stanford University runs as well as bus service along El Camino Real. At the University Ave. train station(within a easy walk) we have a new bike rental service run by the city.
The suite is a tobbaco free space so if you do smoke please go outside on the sidewalk. The tobacco free also includes chewing tobacco and the e-vapor devices and any other things that utilizes nicotine. Quiet is the best way to describe the place so if we could please keep it that way I would appreciate it. Please, do not ask to or bring pets, the apartment is allergy free.
I have lived in Palo Alto since 1972 when my wife and I moved down from San Francisco when she was accepted to Stanford Medical School. I am Director of Fitness at a facility on Stanford University property as well as a personal trainer and yoga instructor.
