The Red Door Town home is a great stay for the price. 3 Bedrooms sleep 5, and a Sofa Bed sleeps another 2, for a total of 7! If it's just 1 or 2 that will work as well. There have been several times when 4 or more people stayed, and they had a blast (their words). When you come to The Nation's Capital, you should not be a home body, with all the sights, attractions, historical monuments, and rich culture available to you. My advice is don't waste it watching TV! Near this quaint home are many fun shops, small restaurants, and interesting attractions, all within a mile of, or a Short Uber/Lyft ride of, this home. The Safeway Supermarket complete with an Olive Bar & Starbucks is just 7 blocks away; a mini Craft Beer store is one street over, as well as loads of parks and sooooo much more, including the renowned Atlas District which is over 10 blocks of Boutiques, Restaurants, Bars, Taverns, and Shopping.
As for no water filter, a case of Bottled Water is provided in the refrigerator so there is no need for filtered water. Having stayed in many Hotels over the past 35 years of traveling, I've yet to experience a water filtered room or Suite. To each his own though, so I certainly don't begrudge your preferences.
I try to price the home competitively, but I don't feel that there is any value in being the cheapest in town. It really comes down to what I feel the experience is worth.
Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback and I appreciate your thoughts and opinions.
It was great having you and your beautiful family, and since you live so close, maybe we will see each other at the store.
Take care Austin.
