About this listing
City living at its finest! Private room with bath in renovated brownstone in East Cambridge.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!
If you are going to visit Boston and Cambridge, this is the place to stay. I am located in East Cambridge - near Kendall Square, MIT, Harvard, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Boston - with easy access to everything Boston and Cambridge have to offer. The Museum of Science, the Galleria Mall, and the Charles River are a short 3-5 block walk and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.
Accessible by the Lechmere (Green Line) subway “T” Stop (7 minute walk) and the Kendall Square (Red line) “T” stop (15 minute walk). The 69 bus is 2 blocks away and it conveniently loops from the Lechmere T to Harvard square.
Cambridge has a HUB bike rental system located at the Lechmere and Kendall T stops. You can rent bikes using a credit or debit card and use the bikes for a day or more for very reasonable rates. You can return the bikes to the same place or to anywhere there is a center.
Your private mini-suite features:
- Private entrance with patio seating
- Queen-size bed with new pillow top mattress
- Room features a small sitting area with sofa, arm chair, coffee table, desk, and book shelves. There is a bureau and plenty of closet space.
- Private bathroom (you won't have to share while you are here!) with towels and toiletries
- Other amenities: hair dryer, iron and ironing board, refrigerator, TV with DVD/VCR, and Wi-Fi.
- This space could easily accommodate a family of 3-4 as the sofa converts to a small bed.
I love to cook, entertain and meet new people. I share my home with my Bichon, Skipper and my cat Oggi. They are quiet and love to meet new people, too.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Jenny is a true Superhost! The room was very nice, clean and airconditioned. We had the bottom floor room with our own separate bathroom and a door to the garden. Jenny's communication was excellent and the service to her guests was extraordinary (she even tried to arrange tickets for a concert). Breakfast was great with fresh fruit and many specialties. 100% recommended!
The house is amazing, the accomodation was the basement floor (like, 30 squared meters with private bathroom) with private entrance to the garden, super cool. dog and cat as nice. helpful friend of landlord to give tips. area 5-10 minutes walking from some bars and restaurants. definitely not cheap, but still a (very) good pick
Jenny was not around, but instruction were very clear, and I could call the neighbor with questions (although I did not have any). The room fit my needs, and I had no complaints at all. Everything was as described, the pictures of the room are accurate, except that there is no TV anymore in the room, but I did not need it anyways.
Extraordinaria experiencia. Jenny es encantadora, la casa es preciosa y todo ordenado y acogedor. Está bien ubicada, cerca del metro. Me sentí como en mi propia casa. Solo felicitarla!
My friend and I have spent three nights at Jenny's house. Jenny is very nice and helpful. I arrived very late on the first night but Jenny delayed her bed time waiting for me made feel welcomed. She also have many suggestions to tourists. Besides, Skipper and Oggie are so cute and friendly. We had a great stay here.
Jenny's place is really stunning and she made us feel very welcome from the start. The accommodation that you have is very spacious and easily fit two people.
The bathroom is newly renovated and everything works fantastically. The bed was super comfortable and that meant we struggled to get out of bed in the morning!!
I recommend staying at Jenny's place if you are planning on visiting Boston.

About the Host, Jenny
A little bit about me…
Originally from Florida, I found my way to New England via Spain where I lived and worked for 10 years! I have resided in Cambridge for the past 8 years and love everything it has to offer. I know the city well and can give you tips on things to do, places to see, and where to eat!
I am a Spanish teacher and I love every opportunity to meet new, interesting people from other places. I love to travel, cook, and spend time with friends and family. I share my renovated Brownstone with a well-behaved Bichon and my little cat, Oggi.
Hope you will plan to visit, I would love to host you.
