Stayed for a week with my parents, partner and baby. Wonderful house in a beautiful little town. Perfect location for strolling into town or exploring the local area. House is immaculate. Modern style captured within an old building. Everything you could want for a week or two away. Hosts were wonderfully accommodating. Only recommend would be ensure you hire a small, very small car as lanes are very tight to day the least.
Michael's house was a great find.
Michael's thoughtfully equipped it to a great spec - all the kitchen items you need, modern appliances, the essential condiments in the cupboard! Plus other very useful things for a young family like car booster seats, travel crib, buckets & spades etc. The house is modern, light and airy, the three main bedrooms on a single level. The master bedroom has a balcony, a massive en-suite walk-in shower, twin basins, floor to ceiling wardrobes. The second is a comfortable twin with another large shower-room opposite.
The house is a 5min walk from the train station (Palma-Soller train & Soller-Port Soller tram) - quite walkable with small kids and two suitcases at the end of an alternative transfer from PMI to the house, via airport-central station bus and the lovely rickety wooden train through the picturesque Mallorcan countryside!
Soller is a great little town to base from. Quaint narrow streets, great architecture, lots of tapas restaurants with proper Mallorcan food, bustling town square and a c.€10 (tram or taxi) ride away from the beach, marina and more restaurant options in Port Soller itself. Hire a car locally for about €20/day to get around this fabulous island.
A few restaurant recommendations if you book Michael's:
- Soller: Sa Cova (in the square), Ca'n Boqueta (near Hotel Avenida)
- Port: Ran De Mar (overlooking beach), So Caprichos (overlooking marina)
Would definitely book again! Thanks Michael and Caroline.

We had a fantastic stay at Michael's house. It is a brand-new modern interior-design house, uncluttered, spacious, well-appointed, bright with bay windows throughout over the garden, and a nice balcony in the master bedroom with views of the surrounding mountains.
We came with our two children aged 4 and 1 and although the house is not officially rated as child-friendly, we managed perfectly well. Michael was very helpful and ordered a travel cot especially for our baby son. The French lady who looks after the property was also very pleasant and helpful.
The surroundings are nice and convenient, as one is only a short walk away from the main square, yet in a quiet area. We were lucky to have 27 to 30 degrees Celsius throughout our late October stay.
One point of note is that it is preferable to rent the smallest car you can get away with, as the streets of Soller are pretty narrow, especially around the house.
Thx Michael for this awesome place. The house is so beautiful. From the very first moment we felt in love with this place and really enjoyed our stay. Hope to get the chance to come back next year in spring
Michael's apartment was fantastic and more than we expected. It is newly renovated to a very high tasteful standard with great living, kitchen, dining space with access to an outside terrace. We loved the amount of light and particularly loved the little windows with snatched views of the mountains behind Soller. Bedrooms and bathrooms all first class.
We know Soller but staying at the apartment made us feel like locals with a 5/10 minute walk to the square.
Mike was very friendly and easy to communicate with therefore all arrangements for keys etc worked well.
The previous reviewer mentioned the narrow streets. Agreed, but that is part of the fun.
No down sides for us apart from other people finding out how lovely it is and will then be difficult for us to book again in the future.
Thanks Michael, we loved out time there.
Michael's house is a great place to stay and enjoy the beautiful area of Mallorca in and around Soller.
The house was very clean and is equipped with everything you need to make yourself feel comfortable. The style is very modern and everything is in an excellent condition since it has just been renovated. We've enjoyed the large bed, spacious bathroom as well as the small garden with orange trees and the large roof terrace very much. With just the two of us staying there, the house was actually much to large for us since it offers space for 6 people but we've preferred the style and central location of the house.
Even though we have not met Michael in person, the correspondence with him via e-mail / AirBnB has been very helpful and he has made a very friendly impression to us. We have met the housekeeper Caroline who has also handed us the keys and showed us around. Ideally you do speak some Spanish in order to talk to her.
Since Soller is not very big, you can walk from the house in 10 - 15 minutes to most good restaurants and bars as well as the train station. In case you come by car be aware that the streets in Soller are really really narrow and our rental car (Opel Insignia) was just to large to fit through the narrow streets to the apartment in order to utilize the garage available.
To summarize, the Michael's house is great place and in case we come back to Soller, we would definitely like to stay there again.
