Feel free to use any of the walking paths on the property to explore. We ask that you stay on the walking paths to protect the natural forest, moss, and plant life. The forest's natural beauty is a big part of the dome experience. Thank you for helping us keep it pristine for all guests!

Other things to note
VERY IMPORTANT TO READ:
1. LAKE ACCESS ONLY: You MUST have or rent a boat to access this property. Voyageurs Outpost has boat rental availability, please inquire for details!

2. GROCERIES: Crane Lake is a very remote town - our nearest grocery store is 45 minutes away in Cook, MN. For an even larger & cheaper selection, stop in Virginia, MN on your way up to buy groceries & other necessities. That being said, the resorts on Crane Lake do have a few grocery items to help out in case you forget things. We are also a community of sharing. If you really want to bake a cake, but forgot eggs - just ask!

3. NO WIFI: The dome experience is about plugging into the nature & loved ones around you, and unplugging from the rest of the world. To help cultivate this we provide board games, cards, books, yoga mats, hammocks, a fire pit, and a canoe. The dome does not have a TV or wifi.

4. CELL SERVICE: Although you may have spotty coverage in Voyageurs National Park, you will have cell phone service at the dome with most providers.

5. FRIENDLY DOG ON PROPERTY: We live on property and own a small husky dog who you may see walk by from time-to-time. She is very kind and loves all humans, but we understand not everyone is a dog person. If you would rather not see her during your stay please let us know ahead of time and we will make sure she stays away from the dome while you're here.
