The Neighborhood

Our neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful.
There is one Indian Restaurant & Chicken & Chips Take Away with in 2 minutes of Walk from the flat. There is a nearby grocery store & newsagent shop. There is supermarket within 10 minutes walk from Newbury Park Station.

Getting around

The flat is about 7 -10 mins walking distance from Newbury Park tube station (Zone 4 on central line) and is connected to Central London. (abt 25 minutes, direct connection from east London where I live)

There is a direct bus from tube station (number (phone number hidden))

Other Things to Note

**Polite notice to all potential guests - Please note that whilst I endeavor to offer space to you all with utmost care, cleanliness (not professional though, but to certainly living standards) and honesty possible , my place is certainly NOT to be considered a hotel. I offer low priced private accomodation and should you think that something is not upto your mark/expectation, I would strongly request you to bring it up to my knowledge whilst you stay with me rather than going back and writing on a negative review as there's nothing worse than putting off someone without giving an opportunity to improve/rectify. **

Check In
  • Fellow airbnb host here! Samir is a great, hard working family man! The flat is located in a quiet suburbs about 30-40 min from the city center. Trains don't run 24 hours a day and coming back home late posed a little problem because Samir has a baby and goes to work early in the morning. For these aforementioned reasons we ended up sleeping at a friends house during our reservation (he Messaged me to check that everything was ok when we didn't come back). I initially booked this place because of the value and ended paying more than double the original booking price ($80 for an additional guest even though I informed him there may an additional guest and I never agreed to pay that price, $80 for getting picked up from the airport which was more than the uber cost, $8 for laundry). In all fairness the house did have everything we needed during our stay and the bed was comfortable.

Overall the experience wasn't that bad and Although it was a pleasure meeting Samir I recommend staying in an hostel near parrington or Camden. Cheers!

  • It is a great price for a bed in London. Not much host interaction due to busy schedules but our brief interactions with Samir and His family were more than pleasant.

  • My husband and I where on Samir´s house for 1 month. He his wife, and his daughter are lovely. We have a private room, and we could manage with our times because the same has a backdoor to get and out at anytime. Thanks for everything.

  • We stayed 2 nights in Samir´s place. Everything was great. The room was comfortable and warm. Samir and his wife are very friendly and helpful. The flat is near the underground station and it was easy to go to the city centre.

  • Great place, great hosts. About 5-7 minutes' walk to the nearest metro station(Newbury Park), from which you can get in Zone 1 in approx 20-25 minutes. Thank you for everything, we'll surely get in touch with you the next time we visit London! :)

  • Samir has been in touch with us until the day we arrived. His wife picked us up around 9.30 PM from the station, which was very kind of her. A shame we haven't met Samir, but his wife has been such a good host to us. place was very clean and big enough for a young couple. kitchen clean and possibility to cook :-). I'd recommend and certainly look into booking with Samir again.

  • Me and my girlfriend spent almost two weeks in Samir's house. Him and his wife were very gentle, welcoming and hospitable. We could use the kitchen, the microwave and the kettle. The bed is absolutely comfortable and the bathroom is big. If you have to get home late you have the possibility to use a backdoor. The house is close to Newbury Park tube station and in fifteen minutes you can reach Westfield in Stratford. We stayed very well. Thank you.
