Our neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful.
There is one Indian Restaurant & Chicken & Chips Take Away with in 2 minutes of Walk from the flat. There is a nearby grocery store & newsagent shop. There is supermarket within 10 minutes walk from Newbury Park Station.
The flat is about 7 -10 mins walking distance from Newbury Park tube station (Zone 4 on central line) and is connected to Central London. (abt 35 minutes, direct connection from east London where I live)
There is a direct bus from tube station (numb(phone number hidden))
We have had few guests having difficulty commuting to airport because of the very early morning or last flights. Therefore Please check the flight timings before as the metro in London stops at midnight and start around 6 am and therefore commuting to and from the airport via public transport can be difficult between 12 midnight to 6am.
Other Things to Note
**Polite notice to all potential guests - Please note that whilst I endeavor to offer space to you all with utmost care, cleanliness (not professional though, but to certainly living standards) and honesty possible , my place is certainly NOT to be considered a hotel. I offer low priced private accommodation and should you think that something is not upto your mark/expectation, I would strongly request you to bring it up to my knowledge whilst you stay with me rather than going back and writing on a negative review as there's nothing worse than putting off someone without giving an opportunity to improve/rectify. **
Also I live with my family and we are Indians, and cook Indian food at home and therefore sometimes can have curry smell in the flat. Although I try my best to avoid any such smell and have air freshener in the guest bedroom but since its a small flat, sometimes very rarely it can be there. Unfortunately I cannot stop cooking the food but definitely try to avoid any inconvenience to our guests.
The house has central heating and therefore I cannot control the temperature of one particular room. If you feel the guest room is warm - you can open the windows according to your requirements.
Please keep the above in mind while booking and do not feel negative about it.

We came back a second time and spent four nights. Such a nice family, and a beautiful room. Very enjoyable, thankyou.
Samir and his wife are beautifull people. I have a good time to London
Thanks you to familly samir for accepting us duriny our short holiday.
Place is very easy to find. room is very quiet.
Thanks you and more and more gracefull
Very nice room, with privacy and entry through a back door. Host was very friendly and accommodating. We'll be back next week.
I never met Samir, but his wife met us. They were good hosts and friendly. It is a good-priced room to stay for being in London.
A very lovely family. They were very helpful in suggesting things to see in London (especially on a budget, which was appreciated). The room was cozy and worked great for what we needed. A great place to stay.
Although the house is out of city center, it is very near the underground station. The room is clean and comfy. Samir is really a good host. We recommend it because it is good value for money!
The place was fine for my gf and I. Great host with a loving family! The area is a bit far from the centre (expected), so I would recommend this location for those who are staying longer than a few nights. This was not a problem for us as we were staying in London for a few days. The "visiter oyster card" was a good investment as Samir lived 20 or so minutes away. Coordinate arrival time to pick up the keys as we were unable to check-in during the morning/afternoon until 4pm since both Samir and his wife were working, as a result, we were in the city with luggage. This was a not their fault as I should have doubled check before booking the flight and updating Samir.
The neighbourhood was nice and quiet, though make sure you use GPS because if you miss the first bust stop, you will have a longer walk! This is definitely a good room for a couple who is on a budget and do not mind the crammed space. This is not a room for late night movies or talking as the rooms are quite close together, so be respectful.
I am a very outgoing person and I love meeting people from all walks of life. I love travelling to different countries
One thing for sure is that I take real pride in hosting guests at my home.
