Our space is a carefully curated haven. With 15 foot ceilings, huge industrial windows, and a perfect view of Manhattan from the Freedom Tower to the Bronx, you're sure to get inspired during your stay. The spare bedroom is comfortably minimal. A mosquito netted bed up the stairs in the lofted sleeping area comfortably fits two, plus there's a blowup mattress to accommodate a third guest if need be.
Experience true industrial living with us!
Washer/Dryer (coin operated) down the hall
...and petting privileges to the most awesome cat named Cindy!
Interaction with Guests
We're both working (and playing) in the Brooklyn area so we will most likely be around during your stay. Cindy, of course, will always be here to keep you company. She is super sweet.
In our loft you will find yourself perfectly located to both escape from everything and have very quick access to it at the same time. The area around us is still industrial during the day, but things quiet down at night. (Super light sleepers could benefit from earplugs if they're not used to city living.) A short walk from the loft are plenty of great bars, restaurants, coffee-shops, and even a little shopping. In fact, the neighborhood is changing so quickly that you might even get to see something new pop up while you are here!
Since this is a shared space, we like people who tidy up after themselves, because we do. That being said, we're all human beings. So try to at least wash your own dishes! You are free to use whatever you like in the apartment within reason - but if in doubt please call or email one of us.
SMOKING - We allow smoking and sometimes partake ourselves but don't like when our place smells like an ashtray. If you're going to chain smoke, check out the roof, it's awesome.
PARKING - There is ample street parking available in the area. Please read all signs and make sure you're parking in a legal area (stay at least 10 feet away from fire hydrants and out of yellow or red marked curbs).
ROOFTOP - There are two rooftops in our building. Technically nobody is allowed on the roof, yet every night you can find people there relaxing, playing guitar, stargazing, maybe drinking some beer, and checking out the unbelievable view. Be responsible.
Great Host! Great Apartment! Easy to get to subway - L train. and Cindy the cat is amazing too!
We had an amazing stay at Ehren's place! The space is magical, especially when you walk in at 'the golden hour' late afternoon. The sunset and view over Manhattan is stunning. The building and area in general are industrial, literally. For us, this actually really added something cool to our 'Brooklyn experience'. There is a big creative vibe in both Ehren's place and the area around. Very inspirational place to be. Quite a few cool -hidden- places around (see Ehren's tips on Air bnb- try Montana's trail house!). The room itself was very convenient and private. Cindy the cat is a sweety and always around for a cuddle. Ehren is a great guy, will make you feel totally at home. Communication was great too btw. All in all we loved our stay. Thanks Ehren! Hope to see you around in Utrecht one day!
This place is truly a bohemian’s paradise. With a stunning view of the island of Manhattan to wake up to each morning to the streets of Brooklyn; you are in the heart of it. There’s a lot of great food and bar places around the area to explore and you can easily get into the city with a short 20min train ride. The loft is incredibly beautiful and has been curated with Ehren’s personal collection over the years. It’s a place at the end of the day to chill out in and be inspired. Definitely for the artistic types.
Granted, it is loud in the mornings and there is some dust to the place that can build up over time but you get use to it.
Ehren was a fantastic host who will do his best to help accommodate to your needs. Genuine, kind, funny, easy to talk to and I’ve definitely confirmed he is a polymath. If you can tap into his creative and artistic mind for even just a minute he can tell you all sorts of things! Thanks Ehren for a memorable two weeks that felt like a second home!
Ehren was more than just a great and welcoming host. He made us feel comfortable like it was our home. From the point we entered his place till we left we were surrounded by beautiful objects, an amazing view ot of the window and a creative and inspiring energy. Who is staying at Ehren´s place has to struggle with going out or not because it is such a lovely place. The neighbourhood is framed by unique streetart and small café´s and Pubs. We tried Café Ghia twice, Ehren was right, it is sooo delicious. Cute flatmate Cat Cindy is also very friendly and always waiting for you in the loft. Ehren is an easy going person, passionate, talented and a nice person to have good conversations. We would love to welcome you at our place in Berlin. Let us know if you ever will be here!!! All the best for you! Sina&Rafael

It felt like beeing home...
The reservation was canceled 59 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
About the Host, Ehren
We are two free spirited artists and musicians who appreciate the finer things in life. Good place for drinking & dancing on the weekend.
Funky music venue with interesting local and non-local acts.
One of the only true nightclubs in Bushwick, Bossa Nova has great DJs, tropical-inspired decorations, and sweaty bodies on the dance floor.
