L'appartement est très confortable spacieux, assez bien situé finalement, à dix minutes de parcs (pratique pour les enfants) et de l'académie Carrare située elle-même dans de belles rues anciennes. Marzio est disponible et accueillant.
We loved staying in Bergamo and Marzio was very helpful and accommodating. The apartment is well equipped, very new and spacious, and it was easy to get on the number 7 and 3 buses to go into Citta Alta and to the station (though it is walkable too). Thank you so much Marzio (and friends!) for your kind welcome to Bergamo.
Very nice appartment. Clean and convenient There was everything what we needed. Good lacated - about 15- 20min walk from Citta alta.
On the way from airport we get all information about the city and places we should see.
I'm sure that my next stay in Bergamo will be in one of Marzio's apartments. I hope it will be soon.
Thank you Marzio.
We spent a wonderful 4 weeks at the Supernova apartment. Marzio kindly collected us from the train station, and showed us around the apartment, and gave us many local recommendations.
We loved the old town "Citta Alta" which was a favourite evening walking destination. Milan was an easy train ride for a day trip or overnight for concerts, we also hired a car & drove the Stelvio Pass, which was a highlight!
Marzio was always available to answer any queries we had. We would highly recommend any of Marzio's apartments, & we loved Bergamo.
Fantastic holiday. Marzio is super host. He collected us from the airport, showed us around, even invited us for icecream - how good is that! The apartment was spacious and clean, perfect for visiting the old town - lovely walk up through park along old town wall. Supermarket just down the street. Cafe for breakfast next door. Marzio had great tips for sightseeing, restaurants and shopping. We are definitely back. Katharina
Marzio's place is great, nice as described, at a well-situated location (just under the Citta' Alta). There is a supermarket (Carrefour Market) near the apartment, about 10-15 minutes walking on a greenway or by the street (2-3 minutes by car).
Marzio has been very helpful by giving some good tips, and by providing quickly some missing items in the apartment.
It has already been said on previous comments, the street (Via Baioni) is a main street and the rooms overlook it, so it's quite noisy. But it was no big deal for us.
Also, be careful if you rent a car, the parking box is very small, so I'd suggest to stick to a small car. It's even better if you drive along the lakes, some of the roads are very tight. We rent a Ford Focus and I'd suggest not to take a bigger car.
Firstly, the hot water and the room heating was the best so far. The apartment is neat and tidy and modern. There are a few negatives though. The kitchen is not equipped for a longer stay. One or two days is okay but ten is a problem. There is only one reasonable coffee cup, milkshake size cups aren't much use. A toaster and a kettle would be nice. In the bathroom the towels weren't the greatest, too small and did not dry well. I'm not sure if it's the material or the way they are washed. Finally, the WiFi was unreliable. We had to continually go outside to reset it and when it's 20 degrees inside and zero outside this is very annoying. All over I'd give it a 6 out of 10. Comfortable but could be better. I would stay there again.
Ciao Peter, I'm sorry that things were missing in the kitchen, unfortunately we realized later that one of the last guests had left after having broken or stolen some items ....
It would have been enough to tell me, and as already happened with other guests I would have brought you everything you need !!!
Now everything is ok, I made sure that the WI-FI is ok and I repurchased pots, cups, kettle etc ..
The next time you come I will make you a good discount !!!
Thanks and sorry again
