About our property:
This is a property who has almost 70 years and I'm still working to renew the place and trying to apply my knowledge of Industrial Design, I hope you like the place....Welcome !
Just Respect other persons living at the house :)
This place is everything you need in Mexico City. Seriously don't bother looking anywhere else, this place is it. The house is funky, excellent location, great neighbourhood, Uber is really cheap to use and get to/from the house if needed but it's a super quick walk to the Bellas Artes.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks!
The place, very well situated in a great, safe and upcoming neighbourhood close to the sights in the center, was really lovely. We felt as we''re visiting friends. Nice and easygoing people around and Abraham and Javier are extremely helpful and nice hosts which made it nice to stay with them.
What a wonderful place this was! It was my first time in Mexico City (with no knowledge of the city) and Abraham made it easy to experience. The METRO is awesome and I highly recommend it from the airport. Walking to Abraham's home is easy from the metro and his home is beautifully designed. Its a large space with several friendly guests and walking distance to many many places. It is definitely in a central location of the city. The rooms were spacious, the common area and kitchen are very nice, and the shower is high pressure and a nicely designed bathroom too. Taco's and a bakery are 1 block away! Really happy I stayed here and I hope to visit again
Stop looking for other options. This is the best out there!
Abraham is a down to Earth, informative and kind host that will take the extra step to make sure that you love your time in Mexico City. I spent a week there, and could not have been happier with the location (2 blocks from the metro, 15 minute walk to the city center), bedroom (clean and spacious), and home (rooftop!).
Forget the Lonely Planet planning. Ask Abraham for his advice and you will fall in love with this city :)
Abraham is an amazing host who is gental and high efficient. He is always stand by for help and really make us feel at home. Oasis is a four floors building with several rooms. Every room is different but clean, comfy and well organized. The location is a perfect connection to everywhere and only 3 blocks walk way to the metro station. There are small taco shops nearby and Walmart is also not far away. We felt very happy and safe during our stay and will definetely come back to Oasis next time when we are in Mexico City.
Abraham is a good and well behaved host, and he is there for you to make your stay worth while.
We were at first a company of seven people arriving at Abraham's Oasis late one night. That was a lot of people, but in my opinion Abraham and Paki took us all in very well. Later that week another couple of our party joined us.
Abraham kept his house clean and provided us constantly with fresh water, clean towels, etc. We could use his kitchen, bought breakfast bread in the bakery round the corner and groceries in other shops and malls nearby. Coming from Finland in Northern Europe we like to live in a clean and non-polluted environment. We like to live in a clean house. Abraham was okay.
Our aim was to re-visit some places and sights in Mecixo City. Though Abraham's Oasis isn't in the high-class and posh neighborhood you might expect, it is, however, centrally located with short distances everywhere, even walk-wise. Abraham was helpful with information on how to get around i Mexico City. It is easy by foot, buss or taxi; and non-expensive if you listen to Abraham.
We appreciated Abrahams kindness, his eagerness to serve and his willingness to share his home with us. It even felt a little bit like home for us, too.
We stayed with Abraham for half a week, and then continued to a neat little town called Puebla, to meet with even more relatives from Finland.
We also met with his other guests, and again learned a little bit more about their home countries. Traveling is amazing.
Thank you Abraham. Best wishes to Paki and Aitana.
