About this listing
Relive the Roaring 20's in this classic studio apt (flapper girl not included). Unbeatable Location right on the edge of Downtown, First Hill, and Capitol Hill. Walking distance from: Convention Center (2 Blocks), Pike Place Market, various venues (Paramount, Neumos, Showbox), Art Museums (SAM/FRYE), Seattle's best restaurants, shopping, coffee, and bars. Easy airport access via Link Light Rail. Monorail Access to Seattle Center (Space Needle). Close to Seattle U, Central Business District.
The Good: Incredible Location, free Wifi, air conditioning, Spacious Queen size bed, Desk for eating/working, Full kitchen (with occasional free drinks/snacks), walk-in closet with additional storage and ironing supplies, Rotating selection of fine Objects D'Art, walking distance from most attractions/businesses downtown, easy public transportation access.
The Bad: Apartment is a second floor Walk-up (not recommended for people with difficulties climbing stairs) . Can occasionally be very noisy in the heart of the city (trash pick up/nearby bars/commercial deliveries) . No parking on site-street parking and several garages nearby (Highly recommend walking/public transport).
The Ugly: The building is very old, and while the kitchen is new the bathroom feels a bit dated (though very clean). The wooden floors are very old and squeaky. The bathroom and bedroom floor have a fair amount of flecks of paint and Spackle (Looks like debris but doesn't mop away). While I've never encountered any ghosts living here, I can't make any guarantees that it is completely ghost/spirit/spectre free.
Access to the apartment is available 24 hours. For check-in I prefer to greet my guests in person to show them to the space, however there is a lockbox with keys for when I'm unable to do so.
Interaction with guests
I strive to be available as often as needed if guests have any questions or need accommodation made. Otherwise I will be completely non-intrusive, your privacy is guaranteed.
Very easy access to airport via light rail, next to bus stop, monorail to Seattle Center (Space Needle).
Guest must be discrete- Do not mention Airbnb to other tenants (Yes we have owner's permission to host, this rule is to reduce safety complaints from other tenants/not give them ideas about competing).
Hi! Originally from Colorado, I've lived in Seattle for 2 years now and am very passionate about art, international travel, and meeting new people (everyone you ever meet knows something you don't). I decided I want to host after my experiences staying with families across the world- in my mind there's no better way to learn than by living as the locals do.
