•DuPont Circle is one of the city's most vibrant, eclectic neighborhoods and is a great location from which to experience Washington, DC. In DuPont Circle (Park) itself you can play a game of afternoon chess, participate in group yoga or listen to the strum and hum of the various local musicians who make "the Circle" a meeting point. The neighborhood is filled with wonderful restaurants, shops, cafe's and grassy parks; plus the DuPont Circle Farmers Market is one of the largest in the city. You are just 2 blocks from the Redline Metro stop, and can walk to historic Georgetown, George Washington University, The World Bank, and IMF, Embassy Row, think tanks and museums among others points of interest.
•You won't need a car with the great access to public transit from this location, but if you do have one it is fairly easy to street park within a block. The Metro Red Line stop is on DuPont Circle at Connecticut, just 2 blocks away. Go to the WMTA website to plan your use of the metro system.

Beautiful place - really nicely appointed, all the right stuff in the kitchen, I stayed nearly 2 weeks, and it was perfect for that - spacious and light and well-equipped. The location is fantastic -- right on Dupont and walking distance to Logan Circle, White House, etc. I was there during two very cold weeks - the heating is great. Really no complaints at all.
This apartment is a lovely, spacious apartment in a pretty residential neighbourhood. If you do not mind a 10-15 walk (which is pretty usual in a big city), you will find loads of restaurants in the Dupont Circle area. You are also right next to rock creek park. And the trolley shuttle (to the tour line) runs from the Marriott hotel around the corner. A 20 minute walk takes you to the central Foggy Bottom stop.
We walked a lot but we also used taxis a bit. We found that we could get to Georgetown, Foggy Bottom, and many other places for $6-8 taxi ride.
The apartment is charming with antique furniture. The apartment has a lot of character and it is decorated with good quality durable things and many furnishings or finishes from pottery barn. The bed was comfortable. Also, the kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans and utensils. You may need to bring your own condiments, sugar, etc...
Overall, we had a very nice stay at the apartment and we would likely be happy to stay there again.
Charlotte is also a super-host. She provides tons of tourist information and we even found guides in the apartment.
Coming from France, we spent a wonderfull time in Charlotte Perry apartment in Washington DC Dupont Circle area, one of the place to stay in DC.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here - perfect location for us and plenty of space for us to stretch out and have our daughter and friends over. Also, we were able to keep our bikes in the back patio, which we enjoyed sitting in the sun and out in the evening. It is a bit noisy - you can here upstairs sounds and outside sounds, but it didn't bother us at all. Bed was comfortable. Have something to cover your eyes if you need a dark room to sleep later. There were some cleaning issues, but overall clean and comfortable for us.
Perfectly located cozy apartment. Close to the metro and some wonderful restaurants. I'd skip the very pricey Metro Supermarket though and head straight for Trader Joe's, or even CVS. We ran out of toilet paper and they wanted $2 for one roll! The kitchen is adequately stocked. As other commentators noted, the neighbors upstairs can be heard easily through the floor, so thank heavens they are not particularly noisy. All in all, a very comfortable place to stay.
I stayed here 4 weeks, and the apartment was clean and comfortable. Very convenient location with lots of places within easy walking distance. Charlotte and Kevin were easy to reach and were quick to answer any questions I had during my stay. Would recommend it to anyone coming to visit DC.
We had a very pleasant stay at DuPont Deluxe! The apartment is located in the best neighborhood in town, very safe and within short walking distance to public transports, shops, groceries and restaurants. Charlotte and Kevin have been very helpful with anything we needed. Only 2 little things : the building is old and not soundproof : the upstairs tenants were loud and somtimes disturbing, and the absence of dark curtains in the bedroom makes it very bright in the morning. But overall it was a great 10 days and we would certainly book this apartment again on our next stay in DC!
It felt like home! We were in DC for the holidays, and there was room in the apartment to put up a small tree and a few ornaments to create the holiday spirit. The kitchen was spacious and equiped welll enough to prepare Christmas dinner with friends. The dining area was on the south side of the building and was a very comfortable space on sunny mornings. The apartment is lovely, with nice, framed art in every room. There is plenty of storage for personal belongings, unlike a unit on "T" Street where we stayed during our last trip to DC. The neighborhood couldn't be better; convenient and safe. A couple of questions arose during our stay and Kevin was very prompt in responding to us.
We should note, however, for those prefering a new, glass-and-chrome style, this older buiilding might not be to your liking. For instance, the hardwood floors creaked a bit; it was challenging to control the temperature in the apartment and there was a small amount of noise from "O" Street during the day.
For us, overall, the apartment was perfect and we will hopefully be able to stay there again on future trips to DC. John & Kathy, Seattle
Loved this place - clean as a whistle, perfect location. A couple of normal apartment issues but they were resolved quickly by Charlotte and/or Kevin. Will always stay here in the future if it is available.
